TH8 do i need lvl 8 walls before th9?

I would say you only need a few but your defenses are more important.

The reason you should get your walls to 8 before th9? You will run out of stuff to use with elixir FAST! Not too many lab upgrades, a few dark drills, dark storage, and BAM! you are completely done with elixir upgrades. What to do with your elixir? Dump it on wall! Oh wait, you need them at lv 8 to get them to 9 with elixir... You are not missing anything being at th8. th9 is just like a breath of fresh air just as th10 is after grinding th9. Make the wise choice and be patient. It wont take you that long. Just think, I'm stuck here doing lava wall... sigh... clash on

All up to you and how you wish to play the game. IMO, walls are the most overrated thing in CoC but yet the most bragged about thing on forums so you are going to have most people telling you to max the walls.
