Thread: Revenge is currently too restricted

    You wouldnt have been attacked if you were online so why should you be able to do it.

    Im a farmer so revenges are not 100% important to me. I would only do it if they have loot worth raiding or if they zapped me and i caught their bases free, but if I never get them back I dont lose any sleep over it.

    I can see it being an issue with league climbers but thats what the game is about, if everyone got raided back then the trophies will all stay static with everyone.

    Hah, that could have been me. I was chatting with my clan, watching the war, and donating war troops. Is a war that affects 90 people worth less than your revenge? I think not.

    But we should not even consider cutting off our arm because the hand hurts, we should address the root of the problem and not the symptoms. Now, every 6 hours you have to take a personal break, so nobody can't be online 24/7. It's not optimal to click revenge for 6 hours, but I'm pretty sure there are people out there who would do it.

    The other problem, and a pet peeve of mine, is that the TH outside gives a free shield almost immediately upon quitting the game. It does for me anyway. This is 90% of the attacks against me:



    That is the bigger problem.

    Gee guys. Do you think about what you are asking before you ask? of course they should not allow attacks when a guy is online. Aside from how wrong that would be to do to someone (and shame on you for asking) the technical constraints for programming this are huge if more than one thing could be happening with your base at the same time.

    Additional thought: Perhaps the Defense Log should show you if the player is: On Line, Shield (and how long until that shield ends), or Available (for revenge).

    Perfect, so all the people with your name in their defense list can destroy you the second theyre ready to. You had to use whatever available troops you had while nexting, all these guys about to revenge YOU can build the perfect army to max you and get all if their loot back.

    Absolutely. If they have a right to revenge, why make them check over and over again to find a chance. I attacked the first, if they can attack me better, then they deserve to win.

    Often, I don't revenge becuase they are too strong, but usually I never get the chance before an update clears my revenge list.

    I thought long and hard. Months even. Technical constraints? Are these developers amateurs? Bumping an online player is trivial. Auto save editing is already a feature. Bump not allowed if they are attacking.

    Checking to see if they are idle, then bumping to allow an attack, for the to watch live, is far simpler than adding information to everyone's revenge list as to their revengee online-status, that would be a huge overhead.

    Why would it be wrong?
