Lol! That's funny, and you're right about the hate, but all this 3-star revenging zappers isn't actually very common.

Hell, I haven't zapped since I was a noob who didn't know any better (although I'm actual for the DE zappers on the issue) but even so I've only seen probably 10 revenges or less on me. Ever. And I think robbing all of someone's resources would be even more rage inducing than taking a little bit of their DE.
