I am a th9 with 2 lvl 1 xbows and all other defenses and walls at max th8 lvl. My troops are still at th8 lvls so I prefer to farm at around the 2000 trophy lvl. but usually over the next day or so, by winning a few defenses and alot of trophy dumpers, I am back at around the mid 2300 trophy lvl. where farming is tough. If I can reach masters, the achievement would get me builder hut 5. Would it be reasonable to hope trophy dumpers would get me to mid crystal 1? I would push for masters then. I not sure I want to do long sessions for a week to push from mid crystal 2.
Don't rely on trophy dumpers. Since your base is at TH8 level, try reading some guides for TH8 getting to Master. Since the search function isn't the greatest here on the forums, Google should give you some good results. (not trying to be sarcastic with the link, just using it as an example)
