To me, the biggest problem on clan wars is the clash war simulation bot. It totally takes the fun out of it when playing against a clan using these bots, which become much more often these days. It's too bad that even though supercell acknowledges this issue, they do not put more effort to fix after the bots are out there for 9+ months.

    oh, and inb4delete.

Wars are the best part of the game for me, Clash would be uncompetitive without it. Of course matchmaking could be better sometimes but we're all looking for a perfect match. Opt in/out would help clan life a ton

Let me first say I think it's the #1 implement done in the game. Suddenly the developement of our villages got a reason and many half sleepy clans came to live.

However I think we should discuss what's need to be done to improve future wars. Here some things that's comes in my mind.

    1. Economy isn't good. Even if you win it isn't. It's expensive armies, up to 10 spells, many expensive donations for war cc and friend attacks and 5-6 hours you can't farm because you have to wait for spells.

Solution: Let us create war troops and spells in our war base separate from the normal. Give us a separate camp only for donations. Improve the win bonus a lot!

    2. Opt in/opt out. No need to explain that further.

    3. Better matchmaking.

    4. Heroes awake for war attack while on upgrade. I've read the explanation but I'm sure they can solve that.

Please add to the list what you want.

Overall wars is the main reason many of us still play Clash and they did a very good job from the start. Time for improvements soon though.

I like your ideas. I have a question though, with the opt in/out, you do mean as an individual right? Not quitting after a war starts? Because that would be awful.

Personally, I think this and #4 should be the highest priority as it's still keeping many people from exploring everything this game has to offer. If you're attacking with an army and 3 starring someone within say like 5 ranks of you, you shouldn't be losing ressources ever, ESPECIALLY not dark elixir. Wars are competitively interesting long term and should NOT be something you need to farm for to be able to do.

Clash of Clans is great because you can play it with other people. But often, much like in real life, different people even if they're friends have different interests. Do we really want 2 friends, acquaintances or relatives to have to either find 2 different clans or both compromise?

If you're referring to clans who don't attack or fill up their ccs, this would probably be less of an issue if wars weren't a resource drain.

Agree with the above factors. I'm not a fan of Clan Wars because such issues exist, and additionally the issues it has created.

I'm shocked SuperCell still haven't stopped gh osts. All they did was screw connectivity up so even if you respond to a snap chat message in under 10 seconds you get disconnected. It's a total load of ♥♥♥♥.

What needs to happen is, as soon as you hit the 'attack' button in wars - that attack is committed. If you lose connection during the raid too bad. You lose.

That will 100% end gh osting, and the old connectivity rules should return. This is a PHONE GAME. We should be able to respond to a snap instant chat message and come back and stay online - like we used to.

    Where was it ruled out?

My thoughts: opt/in out is an easy yes, please add it, there is no negative. Revenge wars or other ways in which two clans can intentionally war against each other is to ripe for abuse. Two clans could just set it up to take turns getting war loot easy with outside halls.

Ok, opt-in/out hasn't been ruled out, but this thread should focus on the other suggestions. Clash players have made it clear that the overwhelming majority of us support such a feature, and Supercell has made it equally clear that they're not going to do anything about it. Really no point discussing it further, at least in a somewhat promising thread like this.

    1. Economy isn't good Agree. They should actually lower rewards for single star,15% increase for 2 stars and 50% increase for 3.

    2. Opt in/opt out. Agree.. people already do that in a very inconvenient way. I hate having loyal clanmates sitting out of clan for 3-4 hours bc they have heroes on upgrade.

    3. Better matchmaking Strongly disagree.. we already wait 3+ hours every damn war. And we do just fine with the current mismatches, just be better as a clan.

    4. Heroes awake for war attack while on upgrade. Neutral. They make way too much money out of it, not gonna happen.

    Thumbs Up Agree all

I think the priority should be:
    2. Opt in/opt out. >

    3. Better matchmaking. >

    4. Heroes awake for war attack while on upgrade. >

    1.
    Economy

    As I konw the
NOOpt in/opt out break many good clans, it caused so many contradictions between clan members.

I agree with every point except for the first. My answer's in bold.

Economy isn't good. Even if you win it isn't. It's expensive armies, up to 10 spells, many expensive donations for war cc and friend attacks Depends what you use and donate. You probably won't make a big profit with elixir, but the gold is all for yours to spend. If you're unhappy by the fact that you're the only donator around, then make a rule with the clan to donate to the war cc above you.and 5-6 hours you can't farm because you have to wait for spells. Farming doesn't always require spells... And you can always boost your spell factory.
