Clan Shield

I would love to see if a clan mate has an active shield by visiting his base. Id like to donate troops to this person, but I do not want to risk losing these troops if they were raided.

Wouldn't it make sense to see a big dome like protector when visiting a clan mate's town, along with how much time is left?

You would want to donate troops to help him defend his base though? Lots of people fail to realise that the CC is one of the best defensive buildings in the game.

I like the idea of a shield being visible but I can't see a practical use personally

Example...

A clan mate just asked me to donate a golem so that he can use it to attack in the war. Being the nice guy that I am, I am happy to oblige. However, it would pain me to see that golem wasted by 200 archers by someone raiding their base.
