Ever get fed up with someone dropping a couple of lightning spells on your DE storage but making no attempt to attack you base? How about a trap or a spell that you use on your own base that protects a chosen building or area? I think this could work as a lightning protection spell or a lightning conductor trap. General idea would be that the higher the level of trap or spell the greater the damage from a lightning spell it can absorb. Here's a guess at some metrics:
Name of Spell - lightning protection/conductor
Training Cost (usually in elixir) - 15,000 elixir at level 1
Targets - lightning spells
Effect Type - neutralises the effect of a lightning spell
Damage Type/Amount (if applicable) - n/a - protects one building or radius of 2 squares
Training Time - 20mins
Description - neutralises the effect of a lightning spell
Research/Spell Levels - up to max level 4 that should neutralise the equivalent of 3max level lightning strikes
Lab Level - 3
Alternatively as a trap it could be:
Name of Trap - lightning conductor
Training Cost - 10,000 gold
Targets - lightning spells
Effect Type - neutralises the effect of a lightning spell
Damage Type/Amount (if applicable) - n/a - protects one building or radius of 2squares
Training Time - 20mins
Description - neutralises the effect of a lightning spell. You can have 1 trap at TH6, 2 traps at TH7 and 3 traps at TH9
Research/Spell Levels - up to max level 4 that should neutralise the equivalent of 3max level lightning strikes
