So a couple of days ago, we looked down at the wreck of a battlefield. Heavy blows had been exchanged, all bases except the few at the top had been razed to the ground. The score above read 98-102.

It was over. We had lost. Zernstliegh's undefeated 15 war run had come to an end. The month-old clan that had started from its shoddy beginnings and had gone on to capture the imagination of every mid-level clasher had lost its purpose. It was a mismatch against a mass-drag clan, but that did not bother us. We've taken down better. We were betrayed by the many clanmates who we believed in, thinking they would try to get better, by the rushers who we thought would make up for their mistakes.

Losing is a part of the game, there could be someone out there better than you. But we haven't met them yet, still our war record read a 16-1. Most clans would proudly advertise that, and at Zernstliegh, we assured each other it was okay, but deep down we realized that was not what we deserved. We were better than that.

So we got rid of the deadweights, even of those who did well in war, not for the clan, but for themselves. But the damage had been done. Atleast, for the peace of the mind, we needed to start afresh, feel reborn and start all over again if that was what it took to get our enthusiasm kicking again.

And thus, GoHype Masters was born, extracted from the still intact and loyal core of Zernstliegh, named and rebuild by the clanmates themselves. A clan born to win, set in the foundation of its deep roots of loyalty and strategic fairplay. About 25-30 members remain, for some are loyal but not strong enough in mind to believe that the clan can rise again.

True, we are not the strongest clan around, but we will be, as you grow along with us. We will never kick a low level clanmate just to entertain a high level one, but we expect the same from you, that you will not leave the clan for an higher option, when the opportunity rises.

We currently have clanmates in the townhall levels 5-8, and such is the the range we wish to continue recruiting in, although we will not say no to a th4 or so because somebody in that level consulting the forum knows exactly what they are doing.

We will no longer be recruiting sporadically as before, just a couple of new members every war is what we have in mind.

Our motto regarding donations is 'Donate when you can, request when you want'. Any specific troop you request will be given with no hard feelings, but please do not request for a particular level troop except for defence or in wars, because we don't want want our lower level members to be deprived of the opportunity to donate and thus feel hesitant about requesting.
