    Loot penalty adjustment

    The game has grown and grown so much in two years, yet these loot penalties have been unchanged for far too long.

    I believe these need to be re-addressed. To help take some stress off TH10 looting; and also future TH11 looting which will no doubt happen one day.

    I'm also asking for only a small adjustment.

    Change the loot available for 2 halls lower to 60%, currently 50%.

    Comparing the three highest halls.

    TH8 offers up to 300,000 storage loot.
    TH9 can see 270,000 of it, 90%
    TH10 can see 150,000 of it, 50%

    The is a massive difference; why is it so steep?

    To a TH8 a TH10 is honestly not that much bigger a threat than a TH9. Any well equipped TH9 farmer has a real good chance of cleaning out the whole 270,000 prize. Yet a TH10 get's only 150,000?

    C'mon, that's crazy.

    By lifting it to 60%, it increases the potential to steal up to 180,000. Still much lower than a TH9, but just the little bit extra TH10s need to survive.

    Also with one eye on the future.

    TH9 offers 350,000 loot
    TH10 sees 315,000 loot
    TH11 would see 175,000 loot

    That is woeful loot, TH9s are tough to beat - even with inevitable camp / troop increases at TH11 - which WILL also come with higher costs.

    A 60% here would increase it to 210,000 loot. A bit more reasonable.

    Summary: Please consider Supercell. Lift the two halls lower loot available from 50% to 60%.

    This is a really good idea it would really help with the future introduction of th11 and for the th10s now

    I doubt they will, but they might nerf it a bit. Definitely would be good.

    I agree with your overall argument and wouldn't mind this being implemented, but I disagree with this statement here. I've been attacked by both TH 10s and TH 9s when I was a TH 8 (like, last week), and TH 10s did considerably better (maybe because of the introduction of lvl 7 barch, and, more recently, lvl 7 giants). TH 10 definitely hits a good bit harder than TH 9. But I have also thought that the two TH penalty was a bit steep, and this wouldn't change it all that much, so either way I wouldn't really care.

    I am pretty sure that it was reduced from 75% to 50% so i doubt they will change it. 50% is enough for it to be completely inefficient to raid someone 2 ths below. As someone 2 ths below cannot counter or defend against you. I would like the league you are in to affect loot penalty though.

    well i will love it but nahh. its unfair to lower player. TH10 is powerfull mostly bcaz of more camp space and all that lvl7 troops. i dont think that th8 can defend against him. it will cause Th10 to lower down in leagues making it uncomfortable for th8 to find loot bcaz th10 may not b very different from th9 in offence but it is way powerful in defence. u hav to think about that too. how th8 or even th9 can get anything from inferno based maxout xbows? freeze spells make difference when trying to destroy inferno.

    Th10s would be able to 3 star a th8 base in a matter of seconds.

    It's only 10% more.

    You have to consider when these rules were originally created the storage theft limit was 20% up to 1,000,000. Players frequently hit 1,000,000. But with these new rules the % you offer is much lower.

    Furthermore, TH8 and above all now have access to lv 12 pumps/mines. So even if you lost an extra 30,000 to a TH10. Your new pumps are producing an extra 36,000 every 12 hours.

    The net impact to TH8 would still actually be better, but gives some relief to TH10. And helps make a future TH11 viable.

    Under the current loot rules a future TH11 would be an absolute train wreck. Things must change to make what is inevitably coming soon.
