They need to have more than three Roles in the Clan. So far it's either your new, older, or a leader. Since this game is about medieval times possible Knight, Warrior, maybe Pheasant if they are not active. They would all be able to promote others to the role below there's but not higher. Except for the Leaders. The Leader can still promote someone else and demote himself. A knight could gain that role for donating, so Knights are known for donating. Warriors could be known for attacking in clan wars and having a high trophie count. Having roles in the clan has become very popular and adding more would have more flexibility. All of this is customizable, I know lots of people want more roles.

Actually, these has been said lots of times. The idea of a new status for people is kinda stupid. Seriously, people don't need to know you're the 'donater' in your clan. If you are then you are, your clan will know it. If you rock on clan wars you rock, your clan will know it.

People in the clan want to feel as if they have a purpose. Just like when people join a clan because they are promised to be promoted to elder. Having more titles than "elder, leader, co-leader" will help with recruiting new members and with keeping them.

Not really like Roles, just titles. I started a clan and my clan died due to the need to be a higher title then elder.

Why do you need a title of knight? Being in the clan should be enough. Frankly anyone not worthy of 'knight' should be kicked. To some degree that's true of warrior too. Anyone expecting special titles just for doing what they are supposed to do is silly.

Anyone that will only stay if they get promoted should be immediately kicked. Any leader trying to buy membership with promotions will be losing his clan before long because that is not a sustainable model. The only good reason for guys to be staying ion a clan is because they believe in it.

That's a clan best dead then. If the members saw no value in the clan itself then it could not have been very good.
