If common, rare and legendary gear were to be dropped during raids, which could be equipped to our hero's, it would be great. It would make attacking enemies even more worth while and make the game a little more in depth.
saving troops after a raid is a definite must. Such a waste of time and resources creating new troops...
Surviving troops returning is currently ruled out.
As for gear for heros, this isn't diablo. No need for any such addition.

Troops going back to camps would break the game. Drop down to where people can't defend, drop all drags, take the loot, rinse and repeat.
Not going to happen. As for hero garb... I could take it or leave it.
You find a gold fist in a dark elixir tank, it then takes a certain experience level (lvl9) and 4.5 days to equip. Makes your iron fist ability extra strong.
