I really want to upgrade to TH8 :(

Hello! Well I finally upgraded my walls to purple. All of my troops are maxed out(except DE troops),and now I'm just upgrading collectors and barracks.....THIS SUCKS! Maxed out gold but nothing to buy? That's a first lol.

Im so tempted to press that upgrade button on my TH...but I know that I won't have enough time to upgrade everything.....I did the same thing coming from TH6 to TH7...I rushed before my barracks and collectors were done...now I'm in the same boat! I will not upgrade yet!

Tell me to hang in there guys! Or not.....you all decide!:eek:

Upgrade IMO. Waiting on barracks and collecters is kinda silly in my eyes. The whole point of maxxing is so that you can get the required loot more easily. What you are doing is sacrificing large amounts of loot waiting on those to finish instead of being at TH 8 raiding and upgrading walls while doing the same upgrades. Time is not the reason to stay, loot is. Once the loot is no longer necessary, move on (of course free builders is a sign to go to even if walls aren't maxxed).

I went to th9 with collectors not maxed. Barracks stink for upgrades regardless of when you do them.

I guess I'm looking at the increase in HP of the buildings....doesn't that help to slow down the troops while they get pounded by fire?

I respectfully disagree.
At th7, maxing collectors and barracks is NOT worth it.

At th8, however, maxing collectors and barracks ARE worth it.

Max your barracks at least. It's really awesome when you can queue your entire army for the next raid and go at it again. Really saves some time.

i say you upgrade everything first, even the barracks. thats the point of maxing out, you want to take advantage of your loot at TH7, because youll be getting less at TH8, remember that. i went to TH8 with maxed defenses but not barracks or walls. i wish i stayed back at 7 so i could upgrade all those. mines and collectors are easy to upgrade, so you dont have to wait on those, but i would if i were you. impatience will ruin you, the game is designed to test your patience, so take your time and do what everyhting you can at your current town hall level.
