    New League System

    Ok I'll get right to it. The more starts you get, the more loot from the bonus you get depending on your league. So if you get 1 star, you get 1/3 of the bonus. If you get 2 stars you get 2/3, and the same with 3/3. I read the ruled out thing and I didn't see this so I decided that I would give it a try. Thanks!

    Well at least you read the ruled out section

    This would encourage higher THs to drop down and just farm the loot bonus off of low THs, so it really wouldn't work as you probably intend it. It would also, as said above, weaken the economy since less loot would be added into the system by loot bonus.

    i see the intent, but like crystalis said, you would break the economy. not only that, but it would ruin the player base. Players would be encouraged (by the mechanics) to attack players of lower TH level and suffer a few less trophies just to maximize on their league bonus. Those lower players would then feel mobbed all the time and would quit because their bases would feel hopeless.

    What this would do is lower the amount of loot injected into the system, but Gunkar suggested an improvement to the current league bonus system that is sort of along the lines of what you're saying, with a big intention on letting high storage loot bases in higher leagues sit in the matchmaking queue for a bit longer, for the chance to be hit by players with heavy, storage-raiding armies rather than some player dropping 3 archers or an AQ immediately to farm the league bonus from a TH snipe.

    That's the link with all discussion for it, but condensed it goes like this:

    1-star: % of league bonus rewarded based on % damage done to base
    2-star: 100% of league bonus rewarded
    3-star: a multiplier applied to the league bonus

    - This would most likely still drop the overall injected loot from league bonuses into the economy from what it currently is, so SC could up the league bonuses by a bit once again to balance that if that's a player's concern with it.
    - The multiplier would be modified on a flatter scale the higher up in leagues you go, considering the exponential jumps in bonus that you get at higher leagues. This should be obvious though.
    - The multiplier would come with a penalty, similar to how the current loot penalty works, to counter the profitability of TH9/10s 3-starring TH7/8s with basic BArch/BAM armies w/o spells.

    The goal of this is to stop making it so economically superior to snipe away bases that have high storage loots rather than attack the base for what the base actually holds. This takes away so many viable options for raiders who bring heavy armies into battle, which in turn forces them to move to cheap, tier 1 army combinations. With the way the league bonuses have been upped so far, it's currently highly profitable to TH snipe away bases as far down as Crystal leagues. This wouldn't punish players who keep their THs out by any means, the only thing you are affecting is the reward system for attackers, which rewards higher for better attacks, while a 2% 1-star (TH snipe) would result in... well, you can do the math at each league and find out for yourself.
