Defensive spells!

Now that you can watch live replays when you are being raided, how about making them interactive,

If you manage to log on when under attack you can cast your spells defensively,

Lightening to damage attacking troops,
Freeze to freeze attacking troops,
Rage increasing attack speeds of defensive buildings/Queen/King and CC troops
Heal to heal defensive buildings/Queen/King and CC troops

Not sure where Jump would fit into it.

This has been suggested many times before. And do you really think people would be able to three star bases if the defences are being raged and healed, and your troops are being lightninged and frozen? The key to a useful idea in this forum isn't just thinking 'I'd like to do that', it's thinking 'I'd like to do that, but what about when it happens to me? How will this affect the balance of the game?'

Realistically it would benefit more active players, encouraging people to be on Clash of clans more often. It would have to be logging on at the right time, meaning a lot of attacks would go on unaffected. I would be happy for it to happen to me and would imagine the rarity of a user logging on as I was attacking would be 1 in 10 attacks at most. Also maybe limit it to one spell being able to be used.

Realisticly, this idea wouldn't be implemented. There's absolutely no point in making people wonder, every attack, whether someone's going to drop a spell and mess up their attack. This is a game of strategy, not of luck...You might be delighted when it happens to you, but I assure you, most people would prefer not to have someone mess up their attack.
