Nobody is forced to stay at TH8 and do skulls, you can go to TH9. Plenty of things to spend lix on there. So long as you have a few skulls, you can then make use of the lix sink when you get there.

I did all my skulls before defenses. They are only 500k each. Man up and farm them with gold.

If the lix really bothers you then just put it next to your TH and make other players happy.

I have max defenses and max walls at TH9. Do you hear me complaining about all the gold I can't spend?
Instead I've put all my Gold storages outside and I'm offering 350k free gold on defense. That's the spirit!

That is very community minded of you Godzilla, but it does demonstrate the problem. If all TH8s at some point are going to be sat with full elixir storages, there should be a way of investing it in the base.

The same applies for you while i guess waiting for lab/hero upgrades there should be some thing you can usefully do with all your gold.

Removing the stupid elixir for skulls was a small step in the right direction. There are still big problems outside of the gold/crystal leagues with bases showing very little elixir.

I farm in masters 3 and I see th9 and 10s with 400k elix on every forth or fifth next at the moment.

There might be a shortage in the lower leagues but again, if you are a th9 or 10 down there then that is the problem.

Curious enough, he hasn't posted his own base. If he is hitting next 20-50 times to snipe townhalls, he may be nexting hundreds of bases each week. This is the only base that he can find and he doesn't post his own base. The OP's post shows nearly an equal amount of elixir and gold in his own storages. OP is townhall 9, so I am confused on his concern about the TH8 of another player unless all his owns walls are underleveled and can't use elixir. Hmmm....

I have absolutely no problem whatsoever with the update. I was just showing the forumers who were complaining of low lix that now lix is back. My walls are level 7, skulls are easy. 500k is pretty cheap. I'd drooped low due to inactivity for a short while so was sniping back to my gold farming zone. On the way saw this

I am sat with 6 mill elixir so that would be the way luck tends to work

Finally someone with my thought!! Yess, skull should be available for elixir too.

10% cap on amount taken from storages.
Bash elix into skulls = less than 50k to steal. No difference in terms of viable target than doing 200k purples with lix.

Lv9 walls at 1 million, still leaves people able to show less than 100k elix available should they wish.

Remember. Every grumpy response you see from a th9+ player.......we were th8s once.
Early starters had far fewer ways to learn about the game than you have now.

No one said it specifically, but it seems to be an unwritten rule in a lot of the TH8 lix wall rage threads.

Well the last update made loot more available especially for th9s and th10 not just collector raids but also storages. When th8 were able to upgrade walls with elixir I couldn't find a th8 base with over 100k in storage. Now it is really better

I've been in and around that range for months (except a few weeks up and down to champ) and I also see nothing of the sort.
