Laboratory research

I tried to search and see if this has been posted before, please forgive me if I missed it.
I would like to see the ability to queue research on at least one more troop/spell.
It may not sound like much, but I believe it would be helpful to eliminate laboratory
idle time. When my clan mates and I farm, it is to build up enough gold or elixer to keep our builders busy along with our laboratory. A lot of the upgrade time is the same for various things, 5 days or 4 days as an example. With 3 or 4 builders coming free at the same time and a research being completed, it sometimes makes having the resources available very difficult.
I know it is possible to stagger your builders and I do when possible, nonetheless it seems researching all the available troops takes longer than upgrading all the buildings. Being able to queue research would help with what I believe to
be the longest delay in upgradeing my TH. I am sure I am not alone in the fact that I like to upgrade everything before moving up in TH.
(sometimes I do slack on my walls though)

Currently ruled out:

Other Buildings Related:
*Gem mines/drills
*Wizard Laboratory to create/upgrade wizard projectiles/spells
*Add a second laboratory or a second slot in current lab to do two researches at once
*Queue upgrades/builds

There's a number of differences about lab from other buildings, such as if you start an upgrade you can't cancel it. They often cost a massive amount, and that amount being available (saved up) for potential raiders is important for the economy. That is, queuing is a way to hide lots of loot. There's a notification for when the upgrade is done, so save the money, plus a bit of change, and wait for that notification. Login, go.

I did see the ruled out portion you posted, I apologize that I misunderstood that to apply only to queuing of building upgrades.
I also have read several posts about "upsetting" the balance of the economy for gold and elixer, when referring to giving it to other players. Unlike the giving or sharing, I believed that no matter when I used that elixer, (whether queuing one additional troop/spell), or farming it all while staying online, would be accounted for and not upset any balance that existed.
