I'd expect to see a lot of phalluses if people were allowed to draw their own.
However it could be a compromise to offer people a few more design patterns/motifs/emblems and flag formats than we have now and then allow people to select more colours to go into the design for a semi-personalised shield
A customizable shield would be nice, like the ones in Boom Beach for task forces. Its ruled out for some reason though
