I always collect my war loot. I've never had this issue. Are you just not collecting it? Do you need to upgrade you clan castle? Genuinely asking, I've never had this problem. Never even heard of it. I have to wonder though...if excess goes right into storages...why do they bother putting any in the clan castle? Kinda defeats the purpose.

I was just thinking that sometimes I want to keep more loot in the CC where it is better protected, but if there is already loot in there and a war ends, i might overflow and lose some. It would make sense to let the loot trickle to the storage instead of losing it altogether.

Why would you not collect your loot from your CC?
The CC loot offers up a higher percentage of available loot than it would if you collected them.
CC is NOT the place you want to hide your loot!
Cc offers 5%. Storages offer 10% for th10s and 12% for th9s. Only time you are better off keeping it in storage is if you already offer max loot or the cf is overflowing.
That being said this is still a bad idea that doesnt make sense.
You could just collect your war loot after every war...

Then what's the point of having a storage capacity on cc? In fact, it might as well act like a free storage. Deeerrrrrpppp. Might as well let my collectors overflow so they can go into storage.
