Hello, all. My name is HuiDoge. I am a penguin living on Antarctica, and as you all know, penguins are one of the smartest planets on the animal.
I have a few ideas, but in order for me to expand on them, I would like to confirm their availability. I could not find the search tool in the forum to search if the idea had already been proposed, so rather than look through 1000 pages of threads, I decided it'd be quicker to list my ideas, then expand on them if need be.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Here goes...
- New trap: Counter-spell ~ thinking some sort of shield with a small-medium radius that does not completely counter a spell but suppresses its effect by a value to be determined. Will really help with the abundance of new spell ideas.
*easy fix* - Clan war defense troop problem: there was a recent update where we could take out units individually from army camps and village clan castles, but there is a lingering problem with the war base CC's. Apparently, if you want to get rid of troops, you have to take out the ENTIRE UNIT, rather than subtracting individually.
- Skirmish: I am sure this has been suggested in some way, shape, or form. "Skirmish" in my mind is a sort of game mode. Basically, you can choose who you attack in raids and clan wars. I've always wanted to prove to my friends that their base is no match against mine. But how do I prove that? NO WAY. I've also always had a desire to prove that my crew is better than those trash-talkers' clan. But how? NO WAY.
In Skirmish, you basically can search a friend or clan to attack. The other end has to accept the challenge, though. So, imagine I send my friend a Skirmish challenge. He denies it. Nothing happens. If he accepts, I am instantly teleported to his base in Scout mode, then to Attack when I'm ready. THERE IS A CATCH FOR BALANCING PURPOSES! NO LOOT CAN BE GAINED FROM SKIRMISH ATTACKS/WARS!!! IT IS PURELY MADE FOR COMPETITION, NOT LOOTING, WHICH CAN OBVIOUSLY CAUSE "BOOSTING"! This principle applies to wars. No loot can be gained.
Skirmish seems a long off to me but it will serve as the epicenter of the game. I started Clash about 6 months ago. I knew something was missing. A sense of competition and being connected. I can't even attack my friend's base? I felt let down. As of now, I can't even show Johnny Appleseed that his apple-shaped base is the absolute most tryhard base and that nothing can beat it... except me. I can't show to those trash-talkers that the only thing they deserve is to lose. I am not connected to my friends and enemies alike. I am only connected to random people and clans around the world. I can't brag about that.
But imagine Skirmish being implemented. Imagine... Clashers all around the world being connected... battling their friends, relatives, enemies, penguins, dogs, cats, and penguins alike! In all seriousness, Skirmish is needed to fill a huge gap in the game.
It doesn't end there... imagine Skirmish with Modifiers. Imagine if you could match your clan against another... but everyone instantly has a Town Hall 10! It's just like Pokemon where battles with friends can turn your Pokemon to level 100 for the duration! C'mon guys. Don't tell me that isn't fun.
All in all, Skirmish is missing and is needed. There is so much that can be expanded on that idea alone, like the Modifier I mentioned above.
- Sandbox: This is my best and brightest idea. I'm sure it may have been mentioned at least once. I am a big analytical penguin. I love to have the absolute perfect base. But how do I tell? Yep. Getting raided. But what if I could attack my own base? What if I could test its strength while the attacker is... myself.
My idea is self-explanatory. This is basically the "shooting range". You test out what you've got to see what works and what doesn't. You can select what troops to use, what level, etc. It would be awesome! I'm sure the Clash community on YouTube would explode if this was implemented... People could analyze in depth every. Single. Possible. Combination of base while being in control of the variables.
- Fashion Show: This is something that I think should be included no matter what because it's completely about "skins" basically. Here is my dilemma. A new player watches a Clash commercial. He gets the game. He gets into it. Then, he realizes that his Barbarians no longer have the classic yellow hat anymore. They are all decorated with horns... and the Archers, too! No more pink hair.
My idea is this: An achievement-based costume system could be created. You earn costumes for your troops by completing challenges, some which include leveling up your troops (that is still going to be kept). However, you can swap to any costume you have earned at any moment in time depending on occasion or just feeling the need to get back to the roots (the classic looks). This could tie in with the new "quest" idea I've briefly glanced at. You could have costumes for holidays, for specific achievements, for whatever!
My point is, players want control of their troops. If I am not mistaken, the Clash slogan is "You and this army". If that is to be lived up to, then players should have control of THEIR army... the way they look, the color of the weapon, the small animation they make when the army camps are selected.
Remember... the level of the unit still shows up in attacks, so it's not like players won't recognize the actual power of the unit. This would add a customization component to the game for kicks and grins, for showing off daring achievements, for showing you are the CEO of Supercell. In addition, if you guys at Supercell are into earning micro-DLC money, you could have paid costumes!
This idea as a whole can be expanded to customizing the paint jobs on the Town halls, and other buildings... the actual structure would be kept, but colors could be changed!
1-11 EDITCo-Op mode: Basically Campaign with Co-Op. I am pretty sure this hasn't been proposed because i did a search and nothing showed up.
Survival: A Co-Op/Single player mode where you build a base and try to survive an attack by NPCs (is that the word?). The attacks come in waves and you unlock village buildings after certain waves. After each wave, destroyed buildings will rebuild, and you earn credits for winning waves. Credits can be spent on new buildings or upgrades. I think this may be to close to the actual game, but I just needed to put this idea out there.

Okay. That is my list of ideas. I expanded on them more than I planned, but oh well. Penguins do get carried away sometimes.
Thank you sooo much for reading this. I would greatly appreciate constructive feedback, compliments and criticism alike. Please let me know your thoughts.
Thanks again. See you soon!
