I don't post often but I read. I have seen multiple posts upset with the holiday events, rightly so I think and current reviews in the App Store would certainly have stopped me loading this when I was looking for this sort of game. My question is, why, when there have been multiple threads moaning about the holiday events when Nick returned you have been all nice, how was your vacation et. to him? I'm not trying to be rude, I genuinely don't get it. He is an employee of the company is he not? Any employee is ultimately employed by the paying customer. I find the general attitude to Nick on here quite intriguing and as a result Nick is doing his job in the responses his post got.

Because there is no need to be anything but nice. He is a human being and has always been upfront and honest with us. He has been responsive in the past and we expect him to continue to be. He is not a developer and is also a player. He is not in charge of how the game is written and is not responsible for the coding of this game. He has told us multiple times that he is not the tech end and even if he was, why should we be mean to him?

Many of us have been alive for a long time and remember a time when all people were civil to each other. There is a lot of truth to the maxim that says you can catch more flies with honey than vinegar. What makes you think that we would get more traction out of being anything less than respectful?

Not to mention that rudeness and incivility is against forum rules and posts that are toxic will not only get deleted without notice but can get a person an infraction or banned.

But even without those rules, this is HayDay. It is generally played by folks with a more even temperament than world of Warcraft , or grand theft auto or any of the myriad of fighting killing and rage filled games. We just don't act that way.

I promise you that I wasn't trying to be rude. That really wasn't my intention and I apologise that I have come across that way. You have both inadvertently answered my question however 😃

Nick was on vacation!! Not sure if and where you work but when you are on vacation, do you take a real vacation or do you bring your job with you? When I'm on vacation I dont call work, where we go for our vacations there is no cell service. Nick does a great job at talking to us here in the forum. The problem I see is there is nobody at SC that can work while he is on vacation, and they really need somebody else there that will come talk to us and I don't mean the Mods, they are great but they don,t know everything that goes on at SC! The players in the forum are a very nice group of people, most I have known for along time and they dont treat people like dirt!

I don't reply frequently to threads either, and I respect Tigg and Perky immensely, but I do not take billybug's reply as an attack. I have a Husband that is not from the US that asks the same kind of questions.....not as an attack, but that he does not understand how things are communicated here. It is confusing to other cultures when there is a verbalized attitude of distress one minute then hugs and kisses the next with no changes made. I understand it, but maybe some do not. I respect Nick and Supercell completely because I love the game. I play, I spend real money and i am still here because I want to continue playing. When i stop enjoying I will stop playing, but I will always respects others opinions.

I read your post more than once and do not feel you attacked anyone. You have the same right as anyone to ask questions and express your opinion as anyone without feeling attacked yourself. I hope you enjoy the game.
