Seriously though, I think it's like the Queen, never explain.

I might sound flippant, and that is not my intention. I am pretty much housebound and hay day is quite a big part of my life (how sad does that sound). I understand a bit the points made and if not, I try to. I do feel however, that perhaps a new "step up to the podium" like link would have served better. We often have old threads revived, I feel a new one might have had more impact.

But, what do I know? I wear socks to play and some heathens don't get dressed

I have a matter that needs some looking into as well. Some players are having calculation problems when getting animal products for derby tasks. The Support staff is having some trouble understanding the problem.

I think that this thread has valued points, but, and this was my point, old threads revived seem to get passed over imo, so all I was trying to say was that perhaps a new "step to the podium" type thread would be more noticeable with perhaps a link to this one to hammer home the point? I will now go and ho hum in the corner feeling self righteous that my intentions were good but I maybe rubbish at explaining. Oh and hi, I am Dornie and I hoard jam . I get what you're saying, I'm still new to the forum so I probably should realise that you shouldn't teach people to suck eggs. I wasn't trying to derail the thread only help, perhaps from a new perspective? I am interested and a readaholic so I do have a tendency to devour everything. I was just imagining Nick in his chair being fed grapes by a minion and saying to Mildred, his faithful PA of many years standing, 'what is new on the forums today' and him passing this by with a dismissive wave of his hand, old news Mildred, someone commenting on a long ago issue again. Perhaps a new thread "Nick step up to the podium, we're back" would be enough to make him spit his grapes out?
