Opt out of wars

We need a feature for players to opt out of being in the next war, or a select few. We have player in our clan on holiday at this time of the year that have been in our wars but not able to attack. 10 in our current war, that is almost half our participants not able to attack, losing us the war.

We can kick them from the clan and they return once holiday is over, but it should be far more simple than that!

Please add this feature!

A lower level player, being active, is better than a high level player that is not able to participate!

We all want this! Plus, this idea would have no drawbacks.
The thing is, people don't like seeing multiple threads of the same type.

I actually do not mind the multiple threads. I do want to keep it constantly being drawn to SC's attention until such time as they do it.

Besides, it makes for a nice break from the zapping and matchmaking threads.

Being zapped by spells is a strat, it works. I dont care if its done to me, but I find it far more fun to try loot using an army, so I CHOOSE not to use that strategy.

Does supercell read these suggestions? cuz the opt out of war option should be easy to implement, and tbh should have been a feature from the moment this game was released

SC has said that they are working on this, but its not priority atm. When the next CW update comes out that is the projected date for opt-in/out

I sooooo want to believe that it will be in the next update. But in all honesty I don't think we can know anything for sure until we actually see it. But you are correct they do have it on a list they have been actively working on with something from it in every update since it was published last April.

Here are some ideas you guys have suggested that we would like to implement. Please note that we are not confirming the addition of any of these features, but they are currently under consideration. Ideas not on this list can be safely considered "ruled out" for the time being:

War Base Layout - saved layout separate from actual village
Dismiss War Base Clan Castle Troops
Numbers next to bases
Loot adjustments
Opt-in/Opt-out of wars
More War Info
Claiming Targets

So we might not know anything. But we can still hope.
