Yep. The top players spend more time than money though. I got to over 4100 and realised it's just a total waste of my time sitting there watching clouds for literally hours hoping a base comes up to attack. The very top players must spend at least 12hrs a day playing this game non-stop. That's more than a normal day of work. It's crazy and unhealthy... I maxed my base completely by farming but once you're maxed the game sucks. Playing for trophies sucks. The battles are fun and exciting but it's the hours of nothing in between that is the worst part of the game. Enjoy it while you max your base because once you're done there's not much else...

There are a lot of us in ITD with farmed maxed bases now and a lot of us are fairly inactive aside from clan wars... trophy hunting is a waste of time for most players because of the problems associated with high trophy gameplay. If you think farming when there's no loot is bad I can tell you looking for trophies above 4k is much, much worse...

Hey Berzerker... thanks for this post...I am on the verge of totally maxing my TH10 base as well and I was wondering what would've been the life after farming is completely over...was thinking of doing non stop wars but now that you pointed out the part with the hours between declaring a war and the actual battle day is a painful I can now understand why

OP why should you care how other people spend their time and money? It's their lives and not yours.
if you don't like how others are spending their lives, ignore it. They have the right to use their money for whatever they wish.

Yep, wars is all there is to my clan too. I hear Ya, I was recently over 4,000 trophies and it was so boring. Nothing but clouds, I honestly don't know how the top players do it. The only way I could see making trophy pushing as a clan more fun is if they added a clan's highest trophy rank on the clan description.
