Fix the visibility rings to represent actual distance of sight

The white rings that show how far out a defense of building, like the clan castle, can see are not accurate. Right now if the cc ring extends out to where it fully surrounds a building, an attacker that walks into that ring just barely, will not trigger the cc troops to exit.

Please either make the defenses/buildings trigger where the white line shows they are supposed to, or move the ring in to where they actually trigger.

can we get screen shots of your CC not triggering? CC troops are deployed in waves so is it possible that that is the case?

I know what you are saying, i have noticed that too. The rings are not exactly accurate.

I haven't paid attention to the CC ring, but I know the mortar inner ring isn't accurate. I've seen the mortar target troops inside the inner ring.

Has anyone really tested this out, with walls and/or buildings at the edge of the white ring for various building types?

I will try but I'm not super savvy with doing that and it would take a chance encounter where I knew where the ring extended. I think this would be pretty difficult.

Here's a specific example though. I was planning an attack on an enemy in Clan Wars. I clicked on their clan castle to display the white ring. It extended out to where a cannon was fully enclosed. I'd say the ring cut the square adjacent to the cannon in half. So it didn't extend too far past but it was definitely beyond the cannon.

I sent a couple giants to attack the castle directly adjacent to the cannon. They walked right up to the cannon but the clan castle troops did not deploy. I watched the giants after they killed the cannon and the cc troops did not start coming out until the giants were on about the closest row of squares of the cannon to the clan castle.

I've also noticed that dragons can get inside the ring for the air defenses a fair amount and the air defense do not start firing.

    Hope this is helpful.

Very strange. What were the troops inside the CC at the time?

Also , the dragons/AD situation is strange also. Are you sure the AD wasnt just firing at another target in the area?

The usual troops you see in Clan Wars. Archers and Wizards. Maybe 13 and 3.

    Yes, the AD was inactive.

    Same!

I would've had an easy three star if not for a mortar getting the archers attacking it. I got a photo, how do I put it in the thread?
