Why do I want to join OH Genesis: I really want to join a well established, well run, organized, hungry clan where rules are followed, everyone pulls their weight, everyone donates well with what they have available, the clan coordinates the war before hand so everyone knows who they are going to attack, everyone gets along well and it's friendly on the chat, etc. I like my current clan, they are very nice people, we do pretty well in wars, we donate well, but I want to take it to another level. I want EVERYONE to come with their best attacks, not archers and barbs! I want people who don't use their 2 attacks or attack people out of their range or snipe other peoples attack to be booted, not allowed to stay on because their friends or whatever. I'm fairly new to this game, but I am already addicted and want to be amazing at this game! I don't like going to war with all my elixir and time spent on troops only to find out 1/4 or more of my clan mates came in with weak ♥♥♥ troops or pathetic attacks. That's not fair to me or others when people don't come in with their best and don't know how to attack. It's one thing if it's your first few times with a certain type of attack comp, but after a few wars, you should have it down and showing progress, not continuing to come in with 0-1 stars! There are MILLIONS of great videos out there on how to attack well at each TH lvl and get 2-3 stars, and yet we have people all the time doing horrible and getting 0-1 star in war. To me, that is not acceptable, but I'm not the clan leader, so I can't change that. I want to be a clan leader right now, but that takes a lot of time and knowing people or to be promoted. So I figure, I'll just join a highly organized clan and then I won't have to worry about being the clan leader because stuff will get done because of the great clan and leaders, you know! And maybe one day if I'm lucky, I'll get asked to lead a clan, and that would be great.


I also want coordinated clan wars, where the leaders work with everyone to plan what 2 bases everyone is going to take and what bases fit their attack style best, lvl, etc. None of this "I'm just going to attack whomever I want" ♥♥♥♥. I want the clan to share MASSIVE amounts of highly detailed info on how to raid and how to attack in war using different technics and REALLY learn what it takes to do well with each attack composition. I have already read most of your detailed attack strategy info, including the GREAT post on your blog "Raid Planning and How to Attack Certain Bases" from 8/26/14! That is EXACTLY the type of info I hope to receive once in a high level clan such as One Hive Genesis and maybe once I've leveled up, One Hive 2.0 or 1! I WANT to be better, and eventually a beast, but it's hard to get detailed info about the hows and whys of what goes into a great attack. There's plenty of videos showing something happening, but your post I referenced shows what an experienced player is thinking and looking for in a base attack in great detail and that is what I am looking for in a clan. Most videos don't tell you EXACTLY what they are looking for, why are they attacking this side and that side of the base, etc. So yeah, that is just a little bit of what I love about your clan and why I want to join. Why do you want to join OneHive Genesis? I want to greatly improve my attacking and base building skills. I also want to be in a professional clan that is active and passionate and also willing to teach each other. I feel that I have the what's necessary to reach some of your senior members level however, I'm hoping that this can can help refine and greatly improve all of my Clash of Clan skills. Why do you want to join OneHive Genesis?

I applied through your guys' web page but clearly that has become a bottleneck for you. I am keen to surround myself with likeminded, competitive clashers who appreciated the things about the game that make it great (namely: a troop dropped a second late, or a tile in the wrong direction is the difference between success and failure). With my main acct (details in signature) I was in what I thought was a strong clan until Clan Wars began and it became apparent that was not the case, add to that the fact that I maxed out my hogs just as the buff of gbs happened and I had no mentors to help learn how to use them ... my counts are often off here and there.

I farmed my base with loonion all through TH9 (pushing to champs ... as if that's a challenge now) so my loon counts are spot on, but I am looking forward to using this second acct to learn hogs from the beginning and improve my attacking on both accounts. I had an awesome time in Forum Legion 2 recently meeting and strategising with Hulk/Rancid and others and know that when there are sounding boards I can put up 3 stars on the regular (3/6 attacks with a couple of near misses) and I am PUMPED to join the OneHive family and build from the ground floor.

This second acct rarely doesn't put up 3 stars on both attacks often attacking maxed TH8s to middling TH9s (with xbows down) and I am enjoying every minute of this aspect of the game that I never got a chance to enjoy the first time around.

As leader, of a clan in Clash of Clans, I was excited to teach younger players attack and defensive strategies I had developed over the past 6 months. Strategies I had taken from reddit, the wiki, the supercell forum and of course countless youtube personalities who excel at thegame. I enjoyed every second of learning and wanted to give back to the clash community.


But after shifting through hundreds of immature kids, and playing with the ones who were respectful enough to donate every once in a while, I eventually met my breaking point. The 20 or so odd members that I hand picked to stay in our clan, were competent players but awful war attackers. They failed to follow simple TROOP COMPOSITION directions much-less follow through with the attack plan I had prepared for them.


I honestly cringe every time I watch a war replay as the enemy's Valkyrie, wipes out horde after horde of my attacker's barbarians, and when asked why they didn't deploy their archers? “They had to save it for the main attack.” ….Is mind-blowingly painful.


But this is not a sympathy request. I am not asking you guys to relinquish me of my duties of leader. Instead I am requesting to join, so as to learn a bit more by surrounding myself with competent thinkers, and strategist who know about the game as Jake, from OneHive does.


I appreciate the game for its underlying mathematical based system and respect other players who sit down and figure out every base, attack plan, and troop A.I so that it works in their favor. This understanding of the game's mechanics is where skill is derived from, and I long to share my thoughts with other good, like minded attackers, who truly grasp the game.
