I'm not 100% sure, I spent 50$ so that would be 6500 gems when I first started to play. I used most of my gems on 5 builders as soon as I started then around 500-100 on stupid stuff because I was still learning the game. The rest I used on my lab upgrades (lvl5 archer, lvl6 archer, lvl6 barb), I got another 1000 or so gems from a friend as a gift card. So maybe in total around 8000 gems and have 600 left. All in all, I only bought gems when I started and don't plan on buying more, I gemmed builders and ~25 days worth of lab time.

7.4k gems. Not bad. I was thinking you spent more. Good luck on your game. IMHO you're doing a good job so far. Work on your def, attack in session, use a good farming base.

I did almost the same exact thing the OP did. I have about 70 legos so far and maxed TH8 defenses. I think it's the way to go, at least for me it was the best way to have fun. I attempted to stay at 8 and max everything and it got boring, so I went to 9... Bottom line, it's your game, play it the way you want to. All that matters is you have fun, screw everything else!

Just because your walls are higher level doesn't mean you are harder to 3 star and steal resources... any air or hog attack will wipe you easy. I'm not sure why you are proud of that.

You don't "think you upgraded early" you know it.Did you just made this thread to try and show off walls?

Anyways, play how you want to. I get more satisfaction when I go offline and see people fail miserably attacking my base than I do having high walls and full loot storages.

400 mil gold grab in a 2 month period shows that you spend a ridiculous amount of time on this game. As long as you have that kind of dedication keep doing what you are doing for loot spending efficiency purposes. You need to plan your builders better though. With so many low level buildings you should be able to have a free builder every day if planned correctly.

Don't listen to the people telling you to maximize your defense over offense. Offense should always be the first thing you max when reaching a new TH. Camps, farming troops, castle and spell factory are the priorities in my opinion. If you plan on warring you are going to be hurting as far as troops though not even having unlocked dragons yet, wizards stuck at lvl 3 and balloons/minions at 1.

Also someone said to go to TH10 and that would be dumb for you right now. Wait till you are near max walls and/or heroes to make that upgrade.

You are a rushed th9. It is recommended that you should upgrade your defenses first, rather than your troops. Imagine this: you spent heaps of loot on offence, then you lose it all by losing all defenses. This means that you lose twice the amount you are supposed to.

You can't raid TH8-10 efficiently with low troops. You should still max your attacking to increase your loot income. The amount you lose is only 350k and you get 12/16 hour shield

Let's just say. Your defenses need upgrading. It's amazing that your walls and other buildings are maxed! What you need to do now is upgrade your defenses one by one and you will make your way up

for the style in which you enjoy playing this game you are off to a good 2.5 month start. I personally do not want to spend that much time on the game, so it was more efficient for me to max out my bases at each TH since I was never raiding like crazy, just enough to keep each builder busy then any extra gets dumped into walls so that walls and defenses get maxed at each TH level at approx the same time. That's how I prioritized spending my resources, I just tried to upgrade them so that they would both max out around the same time.

I think if you had a taste of competitive warring, you would enjoy it. But at your rate of neglect of war troops, not only will you be unable to enjoy high level war raiding, you will also find it tough to be accepted into a competitive warring clan since you will get wrecked every war and have little wrecking power.

Again, you don't war now so it doesn't affect you. But many people find wars a ton of fun and due to your style of play, you cannot experience that type of fun, should you ever want to any time in the near future.

I dont see a picture of your base anywhere but i understand the situation, it all boils down to if you are a hardcore farmer you should rush, its the best for you. But coming to the forums is like asking for hell... The majority of people are casual farmers and can barely keep there builders busy so they are telling you what to do based on how fast they can farm, not what you can farm.

If your not into cw at all, once you max legos go th10 for sure and get infernos to lvl 3, even with th7-8 defenses which im guessing is what you have you will be able to protect de (mainly just scare off attackers with lavas and infernos so they wont attack and notice your other defenses are weak) a lot better.

for th10 my reccomendation would be 2 builders on heroes, then the other three keep 2-3 on offensive stuff like cc, army camps, lab, then upgrade infernos whenever your builders have time to upgrade any kind of defense.

keep up the good work, in 3-6months you will be 1bil ahead of players with lvl10-11 walls and th8-9 defenses were they have been playing like 12-24months compared to your 5-9months.

If you have good offense, then start farming for gold to upgrade
