If you play a lot and don't do clan wars it is no biggie. That said you are an easy target when you do have loot.

It actually puts a smile on my face knowing that I've made more progress in 2 months than most of these guys made in a year ^^.

You did an amazing job even if you are rushed though. But stop comparing yourself to people who stay in the TH level for months. Because it's their game, their decision. If you are to compare yourself, compare yourself to people who did rush but didn't make any progress at all.. Anyway, nice job again on your account. Cheers!

Who said walls? It's easy to keep five builders busy when your upgrades cost 500k.

You're actually slowing your progression by being maxed on storage and not being able to raid. And no you're not more progressed than a maxer, upgrades take the same time for everyone maxer or rusher as long as builders are busy it will take you the same amount of time it took them

Yes OP is more progressed than a maxer. In fact, a maxer would be in the middle of TH7. You aren't taking into account that laboratory upgrade time for TH7 and TH8 is 50% more than builder time.

3 factors to determine how fast you can progress in this game:-

1. Money
2. Time
3. Skill

of the 3 factors, most important thing to have is time and skill. Therefore, it is difficult to make a comparison who is better then who, by just looking at the base.

Everyone choose their own way to progress. Most important thing is, have fun!

I also rushed up to TH7, nearly maxed Th7. Then spent 17 days at TH8 here is my current TH9 bases almost two weeks into it

One question how is the loot at Gold 2? I am having some decent finds at crystal 2, but sometimes its so dry, but I find alot of DE and that 50k bonus helps when I find 250k collector raids (250 profit is awesome). I am wondering if I should drop down to gold again, or is the loot as dry down there?

I only farm dead bases most of the time or bases that are rushed. I never been in crystal I don't like the idea of sniping and looking for collectors only. I usually make full army, and skip til i find a base I can get 100% of the loot by 2 or 3-starring it. It's not very efficient way to raid but I'm not only playing all day, if you're free this isn't as good but when you're busy you only raid once every 20 mins instead of using half army, 1/4th of army, full army depending on the base. I skip like 50 times til I find a base with 400k loot and use all troops for it. Skipping a lot i very efficient beacause your barracks continue making troops while you're searching.

TLR It's good if you skip a lot til u find dead bases (if ur busy and don't have time to play properly)

When I first saw the title of ur thread, I thought some noob with noobish progress would have posted the thread.
But what u did till now was a good strategy but now I think u should prioritize ur defences to everything....

I've just recently joined the rusher club. Its nice being able to move quickly up Giants level 6 were my first upgrade and I never regretted since then. Those giants are beasts and can rip through most th8 I see. With the conclusion of the 1-gem boost though, collector loot might be better and I will upgrade my barch soon
