I hate when people start any phrase with "as a parent," as if you are particularly wise on a particular subject because you are maybe raising healthy children.
I would hope that "as a parent," you've seen what happens in Global and realize that this isn't a game young children need to have access to. I give virtual side-eye to the parents of every child I come across in Global. Unless you are directly monitoring your child's activity in the game, I can't see how letting them play it would be a good idea.
This ain't the NFL, we're not here to be role models. Most of us aren't paid to play and don't represent our team owners, etc., the reason the NFL and other sports are imposing these rules is more about protecting their bottom line, protecting the integrity of the ownership, etc., than protecting players from being talked to harshly.Take a look at any professional sport where adults play and you'll see a whole host of rules that govern unsportsmanlike conduct. These are professional, adult athletes at the pinnacle of their careers and they will be fined or suspended if they pulled any of the kinds of stunts some players think are acceptable in a family-friendly game. Part of being an adult is acting like an adult and accepting responsibility for your actions.
That said, trash talk doesn't have to be vulgar. It can be as much about motivating your own clan as it is about talking to the other. If by words, I can get the enemy clan to give up and give me their loot without a fight, why not do it?

Well based on this original post, and all the trash talk everyone gave on how they can say what they want and be immature, because it's thier God given right, pretty much sums up why their will never be a "war chat" ever. Because let's face it- most clashers are respectful, but it's the few that like to cuss, bully, and speak thier mind like they got terretts. It's these people that make it more than just a game- it's thier way of marking thier territory like an animal, forcing thier uneducated rants of vocabulary out for everyone to see- all they care about is themselves and are the minority of clashers that are so unhappy with themselves- they gotta bring everyone else into thier private hell.my question is that why do you guys act immature and talk ♥♥♥♥ over the clan description in wars??? what do you get from it except making your self look stupid and sound stupid ? i mean if you gonna b.... then why not do it with someone in real life in person and see what happens lol .

Right because has tags are so mature. Just face it all people are different, we have the mature ones and then the immature ones that you were talking about. Plus clan description are just what they say, clan descriptions, that's how you tell the mature from the immature. Think about it. I get what you mean and I agree with it but people don't tend to change because someone on the Internet told them what they're doing is wrong. We've done it a few times if the other clan starts it and as long as it is playful and in good fun. We've also played one clan who took it entirely too far and said things that I wouldn't even say to someone I despise. They even sent in a spy to do some heavy trashing with abusive language. After we beat them by a good margin I waited 18 hours and sent in all the screenshots I took of their trash talk. With any luck they all got banned in the middle of their next war.
In my clan it is fine as long as it is playful and respectful. I'm not going to compare a mobile app game to professional sports... but I played a sport professionally and another one at a National level. I simply grew up believing in good sportsmanship and I still do so I refuse to let anyone in my clan take it too far. Same with sending spies is a no-no.
It is just a game like so many people have said. Quite frankly, those who take their garbage talk overboard are probably just trying to get a rise out of people... they are the most fun to beat!
Well said. If everyone did good spirited war talk these things would be great, just too many young ones that take everything too far.

4) You can beat them, then trash talk them back
5) You can really ignore them. Not that the clan description shows up right on your screen. You need to intentionally click on enemy clan to read what they talk about.
We are all adult 30++ working professional clan. Most of the time we took option 4). haha pretty immature...

I don't see the point to be honest. Sometimes it can be quite funny, but more often than not it is clearly just kids (or adults acting like kids) trying to be tough. This in itself is amusing when they are acting tough playing a mobile game with animated barbarians with little cartoon swords.
We've responded on occasion, and it is often amazingly easy to wind up these guys up to the point where they could be banned. I've never tried to get anyone banned - I'm not that sensitive.
The important point really is that if you are going to post something in your description, you need to be careful to keep it family friendly - I don't really see why anyone should have a problem with this. And please try and be clever in what you write, at least we can all have a good laugh then.
