Quick question about building walls.

Hello, all, I'm currently level 110, a TH9 with about 170/250 level 9 Legos (Give or take) and pretty much maxed out on everything else except heroes in which the King is going to 16 and the Queen is going to 11. My question for you all is what would be better for farming level 10 walls as I transition to TH10? Would it be better to build a few at a time as I build and construct a base defense or wait till the end and just build walls once everything is done? I know theirs no "easy" method at 3 million a wall, just wanted to gather some ideas from those who have done it.

Also, what do you guys think about Lava Hounds and Witches out of the Clan Castle's for Defense? I've been using level 2 witches for defensive raids and level 2 hounds for war castle and its been working pretty decent so far. You guys having luck with any other troop that would be kinda oddball on defense for the clan castle?

My rule of thumb has just been to have 4 builders constantly working on "buildings/defences" and always leave one builder free for walls.

Just yesterday I was playing around with a hound in the castle....worked incredibly well against barch...lasted 6 defenses but did not fare so well on a giant/wiz attack, although I did still win the defense so maybe it helped. I've always tried keeping a builder free for walls to dump excess, but my 9 has only walls and heroes so right now it's all walls n heroes. Having done a bunch throughout did help speed things up.

I'd say you spend your spare resources on those walls but with the horrible loot of TH that might not be so frecuent. If you wanna do lavas then use your TH 9 ability -bully TH 8s-. However if youre still getting decent loot at TH 10 then after you've done a few defenses you can do some walls, I've been always doing it like this cos I don't like to leave all my walls until the end.

I have been storage raiding th8s with hogs. Just have to use them as before but watch out for ring bases.

Thanks guys, much appreciated. Im sure this topic is nothing new but I wanted to get an idea with how the loot is now versus awhile back on your approach to the game.

You will find plenty of opportunities to work on walls. Loot is fine at TH10, just have to find what works best for you in dealing with the infernos to get at the storages, and get to at least masters for the loot bonus. Loonion works quite well. With most upgrades reaching close to 2 weeks to complete, leave a builder sleeping and do walls while waiting for upgrades to finish. There are some long waits, perfect for wall farming.
