We have had some problems in war, and I see that you have some sort of matchmaking problem, but I do have a suggestion. Take a two day break, beef up the clan and take a lot of time recruiting. Also, look at other peoples troop strategies from past wars and see how you can improve your army. Remember it's just a sugestion.

This may be a useless post but still...
Is that a period or a smudge on the screen?
We organized war good enough. We communicate war strategy. We prepare for wars. We ask people to practice. We temporarily kick those who can't war (mostly because they were upgrading spell factories, not enough resources or asked to be excused). Most of our th8 has lvl 3 dragon, including new th8 (even though they haven't upgraded archers to lvl 5). This should show that we are pretty organized.
How can you win against a clan with 7 decent or maxed th10 and 4 decent th9 while you only have 3 th10 and 2 th9 in a 20 members war? And this is not the worst.
But still unfair match ups happens pretty often lately. We used to have pretty good war log.
So please help me find solutions to avoid this from happening or minimize the impact on the victims of this system flaw.
I would like to hear your suggestions or solutions on the other thread.

You are fighting other clans, with real people in them. It is unrealistic for everyone to always win, or win most times, since that means someone else is losing. If you are an average strength waring clan, on average you will win half the time. If your clan has people with poorly planned bases, not that great at attacking well, or just inactive, your clan will lose often. If active, have well planed and built bases, and active, you are likely to win most times.
The clan matching program cannot take into account TH rushed people, how active people are, or player skill at attacking, and don't expect it to ever take that into account. If you are losing often, stop with the waring and fix your bases by maxing out your base's defenses for your Town Hall level, and try again. Or level stuff up to one level away from max, and try again, since maxing out buildings would mean you are ready to level up your Town Hall.
Some very valid points here, especially about removing players who simply do not want war.
However, since this is a feature suggestion page, i propose solutions to these issues.
1. Loyalty counts for a lot in my clan. I HAVE NEVER LEFT, FOR ANYTHING. I was kicked once, as an elder, because of a mass kick event. This was the only time i have not been part of the goings on, and we took steps to prevent this. If we should concider ways to allow people to opt-out, then a prewar prep should be available. How about when starting war, leaders can mail a special mail allowing people to not be included in the next war. Simply choose fight or not fight, and if leader says fight, only fighters fight. Not perfect, but doesn't mess with records.
2. I stand by that we, as a clan, should be able to choose fast matchup for a chance of mismatch, positive or negative, or a slowly selected match that is always roughly even. This can eliminate problems with clans having a large number of elite opponents in a row, which makes recruitment very difficult, and makes "friendly" clans able to enjoy wars. They can even have the war style in the description under war frequency.
Commentary on feature ideas please.
my issues with clan wars...matching system...
as far as the OP.. Recruit better or learn to raid better.
Current war....we are winning right now, but I am still going to complain 35 vs 35
US
TH9 - 13 4 with lvl 15 hero's 3 with max troops and max defense
TH8 - 19 - 8 with max defense, 3 with max troops
TH7 - 2 - no BK
TH6 - 1
Them
TH10 - 2 - max troops and defense lvl 30 hero's...both of them
TH9 - 14 3 with lvl 20+ hero's and max troops, 8 with max defense
TH8 - 18 - 10 with max defense and max troops
TH7 - 1 - BK
The only thing saving us is their attacks are horrible.....how is this fair, really??? I am just glad that we plan and attack well or we would not be winning. All of their top 10 have attacked, we have 6 top 10 attacks left, we are up by 6 stars 71 - 65, us 43 used, them 45 used. By the numbers, we have this in the bag as there is plenty of easy clean up left for our top 10 to get at least 10 more stars...plus our stronger mids have held their attacks to clean up as well.... and they are an Asian clan...so ya...we have to be on our toes. So really....what is the matchmaking formula? and how in the heck is this fair? Like I said.. I am glad our Top 20 players have 15 attacks left... makes me feel better our mids and lowers have kicked their rear......I am sure we will get to our normal 90 stars per war at 35 vs 35... This is the third war in a row we have been on the bad side of the matchmaking system...going for 3 in a row of winning it too.
