I am currently in a losing war, again, and for the first time in about a dozen losses, it's only half because the enemy is stronger, better defended, and more organized.

I admit these things openly to make the point... We just recruited a bunch of new people, some have never been in wars, and our opponents AGAIN had at least 5 THs that were upgraded compared to our team. This mismatch of maxed th and th levels is the primary reason we have lost again and again. Even with our core team of experienced players, we can't make a dent. I don't know what the matchmaking program uses, but I'd like to see us have a chance, even if we lose.

I recommend making the program more aware of troop levels and defensive strength. I don't mind a fair loss to a more skilled opponent, but when the enemies top 5 th8s are all maxed, and I as a mid th8 am in the top 5 8s on my side, we aren't going to win. Please concider this, and player comments that aren't just bashes on player skill are appreciated.

You can still win with an OP bases aslong as your clan is organized and active... We still win even tho our opponent is more stronger.

Maybe you could establish a clan of STRONGER and more organised players B4 starting clan war next time?

Its part of the game. If you keep having problems, organize it more, recruit stronger members who have more experience, or if it keeps happening, take a break from wars.

Because of constantly losing wars, we kicked all inactive, or the best left. Once we were down to the most loyal, who were well organised due to loyalty, we should have seen 15 v 15 as having a shot. Not the case, all opponents were still too strong. A bunch of us (not me) lowered trophies for farming and started beefing up. Still kept getting maxed enemies. Recruited newer players to give more targets of lower level, just had MORE high level people to fight. If this is plain bad luck in matchmaking, then there is nothing we can do about it. But even our strongest, most organized efforts are pointless because we are just plain not strong enough for who we get lined up with.

The point i'm making is that if the enemy has no real weaknesses, then why are they getting lined up with US, a friendly mid level clan. Or why haven't we been lined up even once in over a month with a clan our speed? They are out there, we are one.

I propose this, very simple fix. Let the clans decide if they want to wait for longer to find a better match. If we could gaurantee a decent shot, more clans might try to war, and the game gets more fun.

Wow, noticed this at the bottom of the page. Wish I could clean up the formatting from the copy and paste, but you guys get the idea.

How does the match making program choose clans? Seems like our clan have gotten equally strong bases, but usually they had some kind of flaw about them, like TH rushed people, poor Air Defenses (personal favorite, since I mass dragon attack), or bad base design. Seems like the program bases it on some kind of algorithm of what defenses and offences they have, not taking town hall level into account. Which means Town Hall rushed people can be paired with maxed leveled bases of a lower Town Hall. We've only lost a few wars, but usually we win, but has almost always been a well earned fight.

very minor details counts in winning war. we usually strictly control who attacks whom. like our tops try to take their tops in opening of the war with level best troops. use 1 attack and wait. this is to keep moral up. u hav to plan for every opponent and prepare special troops.even a th8 can take easy 2 stars with th9 if he really use good troops and strategy. so try besting ur war strategy instead of lowering others :-D

Our clan won 13 wars in a row, now hopefully going for 14th win.
What we do is that we always agree on strategy, for example right
now we are facing much stronger clan, but we organize each other
well and everyone knows what to do and who to attack.

Many clans won't tell you who to attack, won't advise you, won't be
much of a help and attacks of such clan will be chaotic and desperate.
Some clans do "attack same no." approach, but that one is not effective,
when many players would score more stars on lower targets while
stronger players could take down higher numbers...

If by "beefing up" you mean you are improving your bases, you're doing it all wrong. Remember, you get matched up based on the strength of your base. So if you have strong bases but weak troops, you will have no chance. Troops should be your priority.
