My friend wants to transfer her TH8 base from her Galaxy to her iPhone 6. However, given how high her TH is, Supercell won't let her transfer it. Can anything be done?

I've never heard of someone having success transferring from Samsung to Apple(or oppisite). Sorry, but I don't think it can be done.

Does your friend have the game connected to G+ on Galaxy?
If he/she does, it can't be done as I know of.

P.S Does she have an another account on iPhone 6 that is higher than townhall level 4?
If so, the link can't be done. He/she must delete the game on iPhone 6 and link it again to th8.

Wait, what? It absolutely can be, and is often, done! I moved mine from android (and it happened to be linked w G+, but that's irrelevant) to iOS as a TH9 about 3 months ago when the 6 came out. It's what the 'link a device' code is for.
Is there something else I'm missing? SC said it can't be done?

Can't you just link it from settings with the code?

Of course this can be done. I switch between accounts and devices very often.
On both devices, go into Settings - Link device - Select whichever is the new or old device - enter the code provided on the old device into the new one.

Do you mean that the account on her iPhone is Town Hall 8, or the account on her Samsung is Town Hall 8? If there is an account on the iPhone that is either Town Hall 4 or higher, or has had moneyspent on it, supercell won't replace it. However, if you back-up the iPhone to iCloud, erase the iPhone, andthen restart it, restor with the iCloud back-up, and open Clash of Clans, it will give you an option to use the account previously on the iphone, or a new account. Select the new account option, and then try linking the swung account to the iPhone. It should work.
