Like the person above me said you'll be expecting lots of hungry TH9 as well as the occasional TH10 bully. I suggest farming in crystal during the late TH8 process where you can at least withstand some attacks.
Crystal can have all of these disadvantage but there's a lot of good stuff that cover that as well. It's one of the best places to farm DE easily and the lowest league to give out DE as a win bonus and does have a decent amount of gold and elixir as well. Though as a TH8 I would solely focus on DE.

Be there for a days and check out the strength of your base. If you judge that you're base can't defend against multiple attacks per day all ya have to do is float down.Originally Posted by sr55651

You'll be fine. Stay above 2000 for next day then you can drop to 1900 with same bonus if you're finding it tuff.
