Hypertext links in clan description

Hi!

My request is simple: support for making url's as clickable hyperlinks if added in description. Personally I like to use bit.ly -urls in description or share youtube video's in clan chat and I would think it would add way more in communication, when you can example copy paste url and turn it into links. imo, it does not need any BBCode, or any fancy text editor. pure text parser which will create link's from urls. and by clicking it, it would open user's default brower and navigate to the website.

For example of usages:
#1 @chat: "Hi guyz, check out! I found good tutorial on youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7OufNYRkI4Y", and the url would be clickable.
#2 @clan description: "Only this and that, other kinda important stuff, read the rest of rules on http://bit.ly/clan_rules" (made up url)
#2 @clan description: "Go check out our website: http://clans-of-clans-clan.com"

The list is endless with possibilities


Current state is that ppl have to do so much manual work to get some website... and Imo the improvement would not be that big to compare what it can offer.

The problem I see with this, is certain clans/players will link to inappropriate material. I honestly don't see this happening.

Its a cool idea but i don't like it. That could lead to a lot of accidental clicks and people would get pretty ♥♥♥♥♥♥ off.

hmph. That's kinda lame :/ One ruins the fun from the rest of us :/ It's a shame some people can't behave and be a gentlemen :/ oh, then I guess I have to continue with kik and other communications. :/

Hmmmm I do agree with Luke tbh.

Though I can understand why you'd want it added so you can direct players to your 3rd party app that you can discuss more easily etc.

Quite a dilemma.
