Sucks to get ur queen to L30 is over 6 months.. Mines going to L17 right now and I got L8/9 walls but not even close to max defences. I semi rushed to th9 cus i new this would be a painful grind. Hoping it pays off in the end. My kings 12 but he's no fun for farming just use him once in a while and for war. Prob get him to 15 as I have extra de with 7 days of not spending much besides war but I get it back

and i loon low in war if there both knocked out and no lie I wish I could post a vid my clanmate has a th9 n th10 account both monsters n he layed down both his heros on his th9 and 3 stared a pretty well developed th9 with 3 golums (2 L4 one L5 from CC) and I think 4 witches n wizards wb, 1 light 2 rage and a heal, quite impressive and a little luck

Even TH8's should spend enough time in crystal 3 to make sure their BK is level 10 before going to TH9.
    Agree 100%.

I have always had one hero upgrading at a time, always. Learnt to raid with just one so I can constantly make them stronger. And at times both, although I don't like raiding with none available. Game enjoyment is also a factor, and having a hero to battle with helps in that regard.

They give you 100 times more value then those cute high level walls that TH9s in gold leagues desperately strive for with their puny heroes. I don't understand it one bit.

Last time I checked, nice walls don't help you make loot; strong heroes do.

I try to keep them both asleep as much as I possibly can (especially the queen). Heroes are addictive. Once people get used to farming and doing clan wars with their heroes they complain constantly about not having them (as is shown by all the threads asking to be able to use sleeping heroes in clan wars). By keeping them asleep as much as possible I prevent myself from getting used to them so I don't rely on them. They are a nice bonus on the rare occasion that they are available. Nothing more. For the most part, I view heroes as base decorations that have to be destroyed (since they usually are just sleeping).

regen time is also a factor.....if you like to barch or gibarch for loot do you want to wait around for those heros to finish regenerating????

Torn if i should upgrade either hero beyond lvl 10 because of regen time.

It seems obvious, but alot of people dont do it. Heroes should be your first priority because they will drastically increase your wall farming. If you cant find collectors you can certainly bully most in gold to even some bases in master 2 with 240 lv 7 little barch meat shields and lv 40 heroes.

Jumping to th10 with both heroes at lvl20 along with completed lavas is good enough for me. I never thought of farming them both til lvl30 at th9.

    Cheers. 😁

when i hit th9, 1 builder for walls, 2 for building upgrades, 2 for heroes, right now, i have 24 lavas left to do, AQ is 30. and BK on his way to 27, all lab work and defenses finished. Let me tell you, lvl 30 AQ kicks .....!

I have deliberately kept the heroes at level 5 as a TH8, because of the regen time. Upgrading them adds 3 minutes to the regen time and 3 DPS (BK) every level. It's not worth it if you want to Barch unboosted. If I get to TH9, I will get them to L10 or L15 max.

I have seen people in top clans having level 10 - 20 heroes as a TH10. So I don't think it's that important. Your attacking army comes first, then those defenses and if you have some DE to spare -> heroes.

I understand the logic of having stronger heroes. But if you are farming at a level where you do not expect maxed bases, lower level heroes will do. As a TH10, you don't need level 40 heroes to steamroll a TH9 or a new -> mid level TH10. If you are looking for loot or one star on these bases, that can be done as well.

If you are pushing for trophies - max level heroes will help a lot.

    My Suggestions:

Why should you max your collectors? Read here
