Most weird army composition that brought unexpected results

The goal of this post is to see the most weird army compositions people tried that brought results that were unexpected from it, at least to the player at the time and it was fun for you to watch happen. This should exclude the usual army comps used by majority of players, unless it achieved results that it should have not. I think this can also include negative comps, for example you had this strong army, but failed miserably.

Mine was yesterday. All my workers are busy on upgrades for the next few days, so with the excess of elixir (TH8) and the barracks boots, I thought I would have some fun. I did mass pekkas and thought that without wizards behind them, they would do somewhat fine, but not that great. I was so wrong. I had so much fun breaking into the core of nearly maxed TH9 with maxed xbows, stealing their loot and two starring them. I really did not expect that result.

My army comp was: 8 lvl2 pekkas, 1 in CC, lvl 8 King and 3 rage spells.

P.S. This is extremely expensive army and even though my 2 mil elixir was gone in couple attacks, it was good for my DE. I was averaging 2K DE per attack. Thank you TH9s. Finally a way to get back at you, even though I am only TH8

I was recently attacked by a level 26 archer queen, some wallbreakers, a couple minions…and 12 healers.

The result was a 26% one-star.

I once tried this army and it worked really well:
40 barbs, 40 archers, 12 loons, 10 hogs, 4 minions, 4 giants and 3 wallbreakers.

Sent in my loons, followed by minions and hogs + rage.
They took out almost 30% of a maxed TH9 and left most storages exposed.
After that, it was like stealing candy from a kid!
All I needed was one rage to get things set off!

It is a good army if used right, I used to do it with lvl3 pekkas when I was th8 with excess elixir (before elixir for walls).
earlier i did a raid with 10 valks, 20 arch and the rest hogs and get a 3 star against a low-mid th9 who looked like he had been th9 a little longer than myself which i was happy with

Healer/Queen used to be devastating before the hero nerf........on the topic the first time I tried hogs/goblins/archers over a year ago....it was a revelation. Used this composition to get to champs last month.

Still can be devastating now I believe, someone gave me a healer in my cc and I used it even though I didn't want it, it took my queen (only lvl10) from the very of death to fairly high HP, and she stayed that way until time ran out, went from a defeat to a 2 star and nearly all storages taken down

I'm talking just the queen....whole bunch of healers and rage spells. I remember getting hit by that once as a new th9 for a 70something percent 1 star.

All wallbreakers lvl4+30archers lvl4 on my mini=2 star on a TH5!!!
