I took my 9 down there for about a day a while back. Best thing to come out of it came from the rise back up, as I was coming back up I found that the 1400-1600 range has insane loot for a th9. I had been spending all my time in the 2100-2400 ranges and never would have thought to look if I hadn't made the trek down.

As a fellow TH8, I would say no.
If you are a TH9 or TH10 - sure there will be loot for you. One forumer has already demonstrated it.
