summoned skeletons

My dark barracks is nearing it's level 5 upgrade so i'll have witches soon. Lokking at the wikia page for info, I see under the column SKELETONS SUMMONED, 3(limit6) and 4(limit8) for lvl 1 and 2 witches. Can someone tell me what this means?

For level 1, they spawn three at a time yet can have a max of 6 out and attacking.
Same with 2 can spawn 4 at a time yet can have 8 present on the battlefield.

Yes, thank you. Do they summon skeletons at a predetermined interval or when a certain amt. of their skeletons are killed off?

One summon every six seconds, until their limit is reached.
