Best Troop Set up for de farming

Not sure what TH lvl you are or anything, but I use 8 Giants, 8 WB, 8 Wiz, 44 Barbs, and 68 Archers. They work great for any raid.

Oh and 2 rage and a heal. BK lvl 8

I've been using BAM at around 1600 trophies and managed to get plenty.

Also try getting to crystal 2-1 and farming the loot bonus, that works great too.

Gold 1-2 is fine even for th9. I have both heroes down and 180k de in my storage with days to wait to spend it on anything....

it's a good spot for DE (Storage Raids)

my standards are pretty low, and I go for 800 above

I only did this once, but with this Barrack Boost.... I went down to silver 1, Boosted barracks, Barch w/ 4 WB
I attack TH7 bases here, and go for 200+ DE, enough for the effort I put in

in 2hours I got 16k DE and got myself back to Gold2, felt lazy going for a 2nd round, so I didn't drop again

Need help deciding best troop set up for quick de farming i tried bam but i can never go deep into base to steal that de i see some youtube videos how people do it so easy but when i do it i fail so badly can anybody give me tips and there troop set ups to help me get better with my de raids?

Youtube. And there is your problem. People are selecting raids in order to present themselves in the best light. Im not knocking them - but do they show all the times they failed?

I'd say that at gold1&2 is a good place for DE. I was recently in gold 2 as a TH9 and TH8's had crazy amounts of DE there. Ive rarely been offered more than 1000k as a TH9 from a TH8.


The trick to getting DE is not to focus on getting all the loot - or even DE & something else. Just focus on the DE. Chose your bases carefully. You need to practice getting your troops in towards the centre of the base - so try getting storages just a layer in to start.

Practice getting your troops inside the base and funneling them towards the DE. A few wizzards can really help - no more than 6/8. You could also try taking a few hogs (4/6 at most) to take out splash damage - but this can eat away at your DE.

I use 16 Giants, 8 wallbreakers, 124 archers. I'm TH9 hanging around 1500-1600 trophies. I used the same comp. at TH8 -20 archers and stayed in the same trophy range. There's a lot of premature bases loaded with DE.

Most efficient way for me personally is BArch in M3 with lightning to zap (helps maintain trophies by zapping those TH 10's with full DE storages and then barching easier targets)
