We should be able to share resources within our clans, not just troops. Think about it, we can already use resources to train troops and then give those troops away, Why not allow us to share gold and elixir too? You could put a cap on how much can be shared on an individual basis. So if the cap was 20,000 elixir, you would have to have 5 people donate the max in order to get to 100,000.

On a side note, would you consider weekend sales where you announce that for a short time gold and elixir packs provide extra ( example: Sale event! For the next three hours get double gold and elixir on all packs!) Do you realize how many people who don't normally purchase those packs would jump all over that? You would have a huge spike in sales on those days. And you could do it at random so that people don't wait for the sales because they don't know when the next one will be!

Easy reason- A clan with 49 other accounts owned by you trading you resources, you'll have more resource than you could use just from collectors.
