Just like you can boost the barracks spell factory and gold mines and elixer collecters you can use gems to boost defenses fire power and damage for a certain amount of time but so people in the beginning levels dont use their gems on defenses they have to be at a certain level before they can be buffed by gems and it would be a good thing to add on to clash of clans
Why would you, as a player, want this? If you enjoy paying to win, you should contact SC and see if you can mail them a check.
Right now all gems will do is save you time. It should stay that way.
I hate gemmers
We don't need to influence gemming any more than we already do.

Boosting X-Bows or Inferno Towers can ruin the game badly. And people would just do it as pay to win.
Paying already gives players an advantage, there should not be even more ways to help payers win.
