Unfortunately, the only way in COC to criticize privately is to kick a member with a corrective message and invite them back. It's not even private, because everyone has seen that they were kicked.

I'd really like some Pms at least only for people in the clan. As a Leader of my clan I have to pass on a lot of info at times to specific player and it is really hard to do in the chat. Clan mails dont work either because they just aren't long enough and its also bad to write a mail that goes to 20 people while you only wanted to send something to 5 of them.
A Facebook group is the best solution we have found for now but not everyone in the clan is in it which still forces me to try to find certain players on chat which is difficult at times.
Communication in CoC is extremely restricted and forces any real clan to use some third party program, application, whatever
