Crystal I bases in Champion search pool?

Agreed...I got TH sniped by a Champ league in C1..... 0 available trophy's.... he got the TH loot.... I guess he wanted to pay for the search...... it was one of the wth? attacks...posted it for the clan to see.... I have only seen a couple 0 trophy raids in my time... all revenges..

There's something up with the trophy system. I'm in Crystal 2 at ~2325-2375 trophies and I've found people all the way down in Gold 2 offering 2 trophies and people all the way up in Master 3 offering 42 trophies. I think it's that so many people are on/shielded they have to go to higher extremes to find a match.

I am in C1-2 and getting gold 1 bases worth 1-3 cups for the win and -38 for the loss. It's screwed up.

So... All matchmaking now resembles champs league... Yay! Everyone suffers together. How funny would it be to see people in gold league complain about sitting in the clouds

My mistake. I was thinking about Crystal 3 when I replied to that comment. The point remains, though. C1 to M2 is normal, but C1 to Champ, now that's something I haven't seen before.

I'm currently in low champ (around 3250) and today I've been seeing Crystal I bases multiple times while searching for a base to attack. Obviously all of them only offer 1 trophy but I've never seen Crystal bases in the search pool before as a Champion. If I remember correctly it only goes as low as Master III. Have any champ out there notice this? Not sure if I missed the memo or something.

That is REALLY weird. I have spent around5 months in champs and even in low never saw a player in crystal. Very strange.

I'm in CI and I'm getting 1 cup offers from players in GI all the time.
I feel like a champion ^^

It's almost certainly a bug, no response from Supercell so they don't know how to fix it, though I'd be extremely surprised if they weren't aware of it by now.

I think it might not be a bug, though. I think what happened was people got online a lot during holiday break (and all 1-gem boost) that there were way fewer bases available in the search pool. Therefore, the search parameter got automatically stretched to the point where Champion could reach Crystal I. This happened multiple times yesterday whereas today it didn't happen at all, at least to me, so I guess this should be it. I could be way off though. A clarification from SC would be nice.
