Just hit the $1 billion gold grab

Just reached one of those happy milestones, $1 billion gold grab in the last hour. I know it's been done many times before, but one thing I've always wanted to achieve in the game; and finally did it.



Started the game in Jan 13, as a lazy casual player. That changed in July/Aug 13 when I joined the Crucible family. With them I started to farm better and more actively. Was with them for almost a year. Great bunch of guys, huge thanks to them for improving my game.

But eventually I was slowly falling out of love with the game, disliked Clan Wars [especially how heroes cannot compete] and has real life issues at the time. Temporarily quit the game for almost 3 months. But back now quite actively and happily farming away at my new home Farm Alliance without Clan Wars stress.

Could you please share bit more details like what trophy range you used to farm, what was your army compositions like, what was your target loots per attack??

As a TH10 I now reside around Crystal II, but move as low as Gold I & high as Masters III.

I run a hybrid BAM style army.
104 arch
40 barb
20 goblin
8 giant
8 wb
10 minion

When I was TH9, when the GG was really ticking over I was using either straight barch, or the combination listed about without the goblins. Because lv 6 goblins really are awesome.

My sights on acceptable gold per raid has lowered as TH10, now anything 100k+ gold that is realistically lootable appeals. As league bonus will prop it up. As TH9 I never took anything under 200k because it was just so damn easy to find back then.

Elixir was never a consideration for me as I often had it overflowing and ignored it, granted it is more valuable now with walls.

Next one I really want is 5m heroic heist, which means my heroes will continue pumping along.
