Started sometime in mid-march 2014... TH 8 going to TH 9, almost maxed defense (teslas goin to level5) and maxed elixir troops (and max elixir storages). XP level 87. About 130,000,000 gg and ee. 146k hh I think. Gowipe and mass drag with 3 lightning spell are amazing strategies for th8. (Drags work well at th7 too)
Started playing November, 2012. Been TH9 since August, 2013 (very premature) but I just maxed defenses for TH9 on Christmas Day (Pretty lucky there). 190 L8 walls and I'm going to finish those off before TH10.
All my elixer troops are maxed for TH9, and only have 1 level each on Valks and Golems to go, still only L10 Heroes though.

dark troops maxed for th8, witches upgrading
spells maxed for th9 except heal which has 1 upgrade to do

troops left to upgrade: drags lvl3 (who uses drags?), healer lvl 3/4 (who uses healers? I'm not wasting lix on them again), golem lvl 2 (have the de, waiting for pekka), valkeries lvl2, minions lvl3. Currently upgrading pekka to level2.
I'm not sure if I will max all troops before heading to th9, as my builders will be sleeping by the time they are all done. Definitely starting golems before going up tho.
