    This is EXACTLY what I was hoping for, thank you so much! I know I personally would be very grateful for an as-indepth-as-possible guide just judging by this quick rundown, you think about things kind of like I do. As a semi experienced loonioner I totally understand the points you've said, and with 2 lavahounds I just can't use as many minions to do the swarm as effectively but this is the tactic I was going to try, its similar to how im using lavahounds to great effect and i'd say bases in M3 would be much more susceptible to this. Up in M2 right now and spells are needed and i'm practicing with hounds for war since my golems are just now going to level 2. My prior thoughts were people were using 16-20 loons to surgical loon bases to get to the DE storage and that just didn't make sense to me. Taking anywhere from 2-5 loons per group of defenses you'd run out way too fast. I guess i'll just play around with it and go from there.

    Again, I really appreciate this reply!

    loot isn't that horrible at TH10...as others have said countless times, u cant expect to stay in leagues u were farming at with TH8 and TH9 with ur new TH10 and expect to get the same results due to the loot penalty system (which btw makes complete sense)

    ideal league range from my experience to farm with a TH10 is anywhere between C2 and M3...anything lower requires too many nexting..anything more requires heavier armies to get to storages effectively.

    I'm a TH10 farming with barch and have gotten by just fine and managed to farm my both heroes to lvl 40 and already completed 156 zaps...all defenses completed and all research except for gobs, giants lvl 7 and lava hounds

Keep in mind you have been playing with "unplayable" conditions for about a year now. These threads aren't changing anything please limit it to one >_>.

    Thnx for the nurturing lecture but ,

    I'd like to point out though that we've been playing this "unplayable" game while HOPING that one day SC will do something about ppl's complaints , because they are not totally groundless.
    It's a game not our daily job ... we want to have FUN and not working hard or planing for weeks how to get 200k of elixir .
    Game = Fun .

    games = fun
    but also
    competitive gaming = challenging

    have you ever played a call of duty game and not get frustrated? whether it be from lag, glitches, ♥♥♥♥s. or you jus not being as good as the other player...well same concept...not everyone can have the exact same clashing experience because each individual possesses different gaming skills, resources (time and money), and whatever else.

    would you honestly enjoy playing this game for years if everything was so easy? cheap walls, cheap troop research costs, tons of loot and inactive bases, cheaper defense upgrades, etc etc...if that was the case then when you maxed your base in jus under a year then what would you have left that keeps you coming back to the game?

    an easy game = short shelf life...stop whining about things being hard and bla bla...just play the game or dont

    You seem to be adding points that weren't brought up. Nobody cares about the costs directly. I agree with some of your points, skills can definitely make a difference. I for one didn't really learn how to raid efficiently until I went to TH9. Ironic, but anyways, the point and longevity of this game is raiding. People play the game to raid. Loot and upgrading your base and troops is a byproduct of raiding. So when people raid, but can't cover their costs or find enough loot to do anything meaningful, then raiding is no longer fun, and this is the big issue with low loot and lots of nexting. The reason TH10s with max bases continue to play is because raiding can be fun, using big troops is fun, but if they weren't able to afford those troops and armies, would they still be around? I doubt it.

    That being said, the endgame of any game is supposed to be a grind. I never really played WoW, but I swear once that game came out, the gaming community changed drastically. Suddenly the grind left every game. TH10 is like the original Everquest. That's how I see it at least. And people played that game for an eternity. Every game needs some kind of grind, or nobody sticks around.
