I haven't found a single flaming word. Maybe I haven't looked properly. But most of the comments I read contained any vulgar, rude, or flaming words. I don't think someone disagreeing with you should be classed as using "Flaming words" either, everyone disagrees with someone. Thats how it is.

I don't see a single flame either. Not even an effectively sarcastic post that could be take two ways. All we have here is a case of, "Sometimes the things you don't want to hear are the things you need to be told."

Agreed. Get to th 9, there are plenty of ways for you to spend elixir there

I dont like to rush hence why my base is maxed. I have a th9 too which I rushed and regretted.

Why do you need elixir then? Just put your collectors and storages out, and let people snipe the 'lix.

It's funny, I used to think people were being sarcastic and patronizing when they would say to put storages out.

Then I was sitting on full gold storages at TH7, while farming for elixir and DE to upgrade my Barbarian King and DE storage. I had more gold than I could use, other than to dump it into walls. But that seemed like the easy way out, and anyway, I knew I would have my walls maxed before I was ready to move up to TH8. So I put my little gold storage out (500k, so 80k lootable). Worked like a charm, won 3 or 4 battles every time I logged out, and only would lose when someone pushed for the DE storage.

If I'm willing to do it with a gold storage (when I had the option to dump the gold), then why not do it with an elixir storage, when you don't have the option to dump it. It's free trophies, free wins towards the Unbreakable achievement, and you can feel like you're giving back to people who actually need the elixir. I mean, if you're complaining about it, you obviously don't need it, so why be ♥♥♥♥♥♥ that people will try to take it. Make it easy for them to take it.

By the way, I voted "maybe", because I would support bringing elixir walls back for L8 walls, but only with some sort of tweak that prevents, or at least discourages, players from dumping all excess elixir.

The best tweak I've seen suggested is to prevent players from buying a wall with elixir unless they have some minimum reserve of elixir. Whether it's enough to keep their lootable storage capped, or some reasonable flat amount like 1M or 2M, it's better than allowing them to dump all their elixir.

Another suggestion I've seen (and one I've made myself), is to have walls cost more elixir than gold. It could be a flat fee, like 500k or 1M, regardless of wall level. Or, it could be a fee that increases with wall level. See this post:
