Lightbulb New Base Design Functions Ideas

So recently with the 2014 Holiday update, the new multiple base design interface was pretty cool and useful. But I still wanted more. Here is a list of functions I want added to the Base Design Interface.

    1. Clan View: Basically while you are building a base, you can send an icon via the Clan Chat, when clanmates tap on the icon, it takes them to the base creation interface, where they watch you build your base.

When you start building/editing a new base, you can send a portal icon to your Clan, which appears on the Clan chat. (You must be in a Clan to do this). You can also type in a follow-up message, For Example: “I’m building a new Farming Base! Any tips?"
When clanmates tap on that icon, they will be taken to a base creation interface where they’ll be watching you build your base.
Clanmates will have the ability to comment on your base via the Clan chat. For example: “No! No! Switch your Wizard towers with your Mortars!!!” and stuff like that. You will be able to chat with them at the same time via Clan Chat.
Why do this? Well, If you don’t know his Supercell, clanmates like to ask other clanmates about how to build a good base. Its really hard to communicate in this though. Communication of this matter of base building should be more effective and this idea will be the answer to effective “Clanmate feedback on Base building."

    2. Watching Defense replays while building/editing a base.

When you Build/Edit a base, there will be an icon stating “Watch Defense Replay.” It will take you to the Rep/ay interface and from there, you can choose a replay to watch from the “Defense” section only. This replay will pop up on the upper right corner of the screen in a small box. If you tap on it, it will fill the entire screen. If you double tap on its again, it will become small again. Put your pointer on it, and simply swipe left or right to discard it from the Base Design interface. (This function was inspired by watching Youtube on a Motorola Droid Razr)
How I would use this: After watching a replay where my base got beat up brutally, I discovered that I needed to tweak my base a little to prevent something like this from happening again. But while designing my base, I forget what I needed to tweak, or I needed to look again. Instead of leaving the interface, with this function, I can simply watch the replay, pause it, shrink it, and continue working on my base, then pause it, shrink it, and continue, and pause… oh you get the point.
Why do this? Sometimes when your base has been pummeled and you think you can fix a mistake that will prevent it from repetition, you need to re-edit your base. Sometimes you need to make 100% sure you edited it right according to a counter-thought against an attack on your base, so you can use this function to make it very efficient.

    3. Switching Buildings: I am not sure if this is ruled out or not, since it has been a highly requested mechanic that has not been implemented into COC. Anyway, Switching Buildings in Base Building is basically a mechanic that immediately swaps two buildings, so that Building A goes to the spot Building B was at and Building B goes to Building A’s original position.

If your going to yell out “Ruled Out, dummy!” then fine. But still, I want to know why COC doesn’t have this mechanic or why it is Ruled Out. (COC ripoffs like the popular “Samurai Siege” has tha mechanic)
Why do this? Its really frustrating that the process needs 3 steps in COC while it can be shortened down to 1 step with totally possible programming.

    4. Name your bases: The ability to type in a title for a base design you’ve built.
    Why do this?
Its pretty simple. I just want it.

    No objections?

Thumbs Up Nice Ideas! Very Unique and Creative!

First of all, please don't mention 'COC Ripoffs' in your thread, as it is against forum rules.

What I think of each suggestion:

    1. Seems like a fair suggestion, and it could be useful for people who need help when designing a new base, and could get some tips from their clan mates. I think this is a valid suggestion, and one that isn't complex, or ruled out.
    2. I think this suggestion is fair, and could also help players when they need help to tweak their base by moving certain defenses, traps etc. It could also be useful for helping players to judge where they should put their defenses, and why they lost a certain defense.
    3. This is a very simple suggestion, and could make designing a new base relatively quicker if someone has made an error, or think that the defense setup would be better with 2 buildings switched. My only problem about this suggestion is when 2 buildings of different sizes are switched e.g. Townhall and Clan Castle. As for wether it is ruled out or not however, I am unsure.
    4. Definitely the most basic suggestion out of the 4, and I think this is probably the most valid suggestion, and doesn't seem very complex at all, and is something that Supercell wouldn't need to spend lots of time making.

    Summary:
I like all of these suggestions, and there is only one main problem that I have with any of your suggestions. I am going to rate this thread a 4/5 because there is one main problem with Suggestion 3 which might be a struggle to fix or work around. I have no problems with any of the other suggestions, which is why I am giving this thread a good rating.

    Hope this helps!
