Not a whole lot really, im doing about 2 raids a day at the moment because busy with work. Heroes 10+ are ideal.

I would really like to try this but I just have a few questions I hope you could answer.

    1. How would your deployment differ if you are using a smaller device? When I'm out I usually use my phone to play and would like some advise on archer deployment (with barch I do a thin line or barbs followed by a thin line of archers then another thick line of archers per side)

    2. What cc troops would be best to keep incase of emergency (additional percentage). I usually keep a drag with wiz/arcs feeder from my th8 account.

    3. Can I visit your clan? Hoping to learn things from you and vice versa

    Thanks man
Ive added a new video to the OP which uses a different finger deployment strategy, this is what I use when raiding on my iPhone, hope that helps
    Yeah, always barbs before arch.

I love to have either wizards or tank units in cc, occasionally you come across a base thats possible to two star, and having some giants to soak up damage, or some wizards to deal extra damage can be handy. sure, PM me a date and time and ill be online to accept you

Added some extra videos to the second comment on page 1. Shows little reliance upon heroes, and excelent use of lightning spells.

Some people have pointed out that the videos were not the best examples due to hero use, I have recorded a couple more to show you.
Observe the require some hero usage, but very little, and they both come out with full health. The following videos are also good representation of lightning spells.

Thanks for sharing some more videos.

How often do you a see a base like the first one you just shared? That is pretty much the ideal case. Think I counted 36 buildings outside and low level defenses. I see this in masters maybe 1 in 50 bases. I would imagine its very rare in champs. You don't next a lot right?

The base in the second stream is a better show case for your skill. Pretty impressed you got to 40% on it with just archers. Can you explain how you deploy the archers? You mentioned 3 finger method, but I can never get my troops to line up so well. Usually with 3 fingers they will overlap for me, but maybe im doing it to fast. My 220 lvl 5 archers would of gotten at most 35% on this base. Maybe its my deployment. But even if i can master your deployment, I don't think I can get 10% from my lightning and heroes. I usually have 1 hero upgrading. So 1 hero would of gotten me at best 3% there or less if the CC troops got to it fast. And 5 lightning generally only get me max 6% damage. But I only have level 5 lightning.

If you have time, post some more videos I'll be trying this again when my archers finish upgrading to level 6.

Its not super common to find a weird layout like that, but thats not really the point. I wouldnt next more than 2 times to find a base I can arch, and not more than 10 times to find one worth arching.
Basically just plop three fingers down, work around the base in a clockwise direction, the troop bar at the bottom isnt a problem, when you are dropping troops you can still be holding down over the top of the troops and it will be placing archers. Yes, there is a huge difference between level 5 archers and level 7 archers, not saying its impossible, but it would be significantly harder. Now, in regards to circling the base with three fingers, stop when you are about 90% of the way around. Let the troops go uuntilyou know if you will win or lose. If you are going to lose, drop your hero at the remaining 10% of the outer buildings, this gives some easier targets and usually about 7% total damage as oppose to the 3% you were saying. Just a handy tip.
Lightning level shouldnt make much of a difference, its just lots and lots of practice. It is essential to take note of which buildings are being damaged with archers during the raid.

I saw this thread and immediately starting pushing, but ive seem to hit a wall at masters 3, is there a particular number of buildings you look for on the outside/base design you look for?

TheGreatLach, incredible guide that you've shared here! Those are some great vids to show your deployment too. As someone who's been only really doing loonian for most of TH10, this was a refreshing transition for me to try out after one-to-many nexts in the effort of finding loot. After a few dozen losses in champ (I'm sure they enjoy the trophies), I'm getting the concept down and losing much less although I still have to figure that "aha" moment when it comes to knowing what bases to easily take on and what to avoid. The strat greatly helps when nexting for loot is too costly. Thanks for sharing!

    New TH9

A clanmate shared this post. He pushed to masters with 220 archers and his storages were full from the league bonus

i recently became a TH9. Maxed wall and defenses at TH8. I knew loot would be worse until i upgrades barch and i saw what my clanmate did. After a couple days i am cirrently at 2300 trophies with 200 lvl5 archers. I stay away from xbows and i will attack anyone i think i can 50%. I have made less than 10,000 of each resource on several raids. I am starting to notice the league bonus in C2. I really enjoy how little i next because there is no consideration of loot, only the league bonus. I dont expect to get to champions this way but the league bonus is huge in Masters III. I'll update if i make it there

thank you for posting an interesting and useful strategy guide for everyone. My favorite tip was dont worry about the motars battle is so quick its over before the motar can even work.

I would like to share my tip with you. Carry some minions and send them in by wizard towers that are close to the wall. Making them shoot at the ground and the air helps you kill them.

When I was starting out, I would look for 35+ buildings outside, I spent about a month in M3 practicing before I finally made the move for champ.

Ahhh, yes loot bonus from C2 and up is really good, its hard to get in the mindset for farming the league bonus instead of storage's and collectors, but once you do, its well worth it.
Awesome, let me know how you go.

Great tip, ill try it out

Excellent thread and guide, I have always wanted to know how you can push to Champ with Archers. I pushed to champ as a TH9 with Balloonion, the standard TH9 pushing strategy, but this is definitely cheaper and faster, I might want to try this out. Love the detailed videos you provided!

Thanks for sharing and explaining a technique I have always wanted to try.

BTW, i don't remember reading it, but how do you recommend using this strategy on a phone? One as small as an iPhone 5 even.?

I saw this thread when I was farming in crystal three. I started pushing to masters and my storages were full before I even got there. Farming the loot bonus is great and with very minimal nexting allows you to keep maximum gold. I don't believe I'm ready to go to champions yet, but I hope to hover around 2800. Great thread!
