I had this idea yesterday. I've recently been told it was ruled out but I couldn't find it on the list. It doesn't look to be happening anyway

why is this for everyone so hard to understand, upgrades will never be allowed to boost other then with gems be happy you get your troops 4 times faster already and dubble production on all your elixir pumps
Really tired of these request and NO builderhuts can not be boosted either, thats a respond to your future post already![]()

This isn't ruled out, and is a logical progression to the game. People mistakenly label ideas like this one as ruled out, but are in fact referring to "Add a second laboratory or a second slot in current lab to do two researches at once", which is a completely separate idea. And DiNatale, James clearly understands that this boost would be with gems,
Barracks and collectors are boosted with gems. This idea is a moneymaker for SC, because many people are unwilling to shell out 1000+ gems to immediately finish a research, but would consider 10 gems for a 4 hour, X2 boost.
